Sailsquare is a marketplace that connects sea and nature lovers with operators who organise sailing experiences.
Our goal is to facilitate the meeting between organisers and travellers within a safe and secure system. Sailsquare does not directly organise the experiences listed on the platform, but provides the tools to allow users to connect with organisers before booking, get to know each other virtually and communicate freely. This creates an active and dynamic community based on sharing and trust. Sailsquare is not part of the contractual relationship that is established directly between organisers and participants in the experience.
After registering, you can apply to become an organiser (known as a Provider) to organise and offer your own experiences on the platform. Each Provider is authorised to create and manage experiences on the platform after our team has verified the necessary qualifications to protect the community.
Sailsquare guarantees the security of transactions by managing payments through a secure system: the fees paid by participants in the experiences are collected and transferred to the organiser only after the experience has begun, retaining a commission on the price paid for the service offered.
By registering on Sailsquare, you will become part of a growing community of people who share a passion for the sea and nature, eager to share authentic experiences.
The organisers of the experiences published on Sailsquare are a variety of individuals – local private skippers, associations and professional operators in the sector – whom our team has authorised to list and manage their own proposals on the platform.
To find out more about the organiser of a particular experience, we recommend that you consult their profile, which can be accessed by clicking on their name next to their profile photo on the experience page. Here you will find information about their experience and qualifications, their sailing areas and reviews from travellers who have been on board with them.
In addition, you can always contact an organiser before the booking if you would like to clarify certain aspects or receive more information: from the page of the experience you are interested in, simply click on the ‘Contact the organiser’ button to send them a message.
