If you are looking for a skipper you can trust 100% while sailing, Sandro is definitely the person for you. Be aware, however, that the price to pay is to accept his abrupt, gruff and not always properly polite ways. Its ability to interpret the sea is inversely proportional to its ability to make you feel at ease on board. For him, passengers are basically a nuisance. If, like me, you are at your first experience on a boat, ask questions that seem obvious to him or you make mistakes simply dictated by lack of experience, everything becomes even more complicated... for him and for you! Added to this is practically non-existent communication and explanations reduced to a minimum. But, on the other hand, every coin has its downside and, in this wonderful boat experience, I got to know both sides of the coin. On the one hand, an extremely competent skipper, able to read the sea and convey confidence. On the other, a man with decidedly unaccommodating manners. In the end, it's up to you to decide which of the two weighs more.

Overall, we had a really nice time! Especially our crew with skipper Sebastiano and all fellow sailors was a lot of fun! It was a nice trip together, swimming in the crystal clear water and diving with the many fish in the north of Corsica is just wonderful! I have to give one restriction for the boat. We got a different boat than originally announced, which was simply very old (over 25 years) and accordingly in some places also limited functionality and without comfort. We bought a second pot and plates. When sailing in stronger winds, we were careful because our skipper rightly did not want to challenge the stability of the old boat (a Beneteau First 40.7). The boat was actually a bit too small for 7 crew members, so 45 feet would certainly have been more coherent. Nevertheless, we are happy that we made this trip and very satisfied! They are simply great people who have come together here... Many thanks for this trip to our skipper Sebastiano and the great crew! Florian

The experience with Iacopo was overall very positive. He is an exceptional person, with a deep knowledge of the boat and the sea, capable of transmitting his great passion for sailing to the whole crew. Together with him we had a really good time. However, I leave some constructive ideas that, if improved, would make the holiday perfect for future guests: Alternative planning: Due to bad weather we could not reach Corsica, falling back on the Island of Elba. On this occasion there was no real well-structured "Plan B": we found ourselves making very long crossings (over 3 hours) without clear stops or intermediate stops for a swim in some cove. Relaxation management: Iacopo was often apprehensive about the wind, sometimes putting us in a bit of a hurry when we would have preferred to enjoy the tranquility of the sea. He is very good at making decisions, he just has to learn not to be conditioned by time pressure and to relax more. Comfort of the boat: The boat is correct, but it needs some small precautions to ensure adequate comfort for the crew (for example, an awning for shade is a fundamental detail that should be fixed). Iacopo has all the credentials to become a skipper of 10 cum laude in the very near future
