About me

I've been sailing for over 45 years. I have sailed more than 70,000 miles aboard my successive sailboats, crossing the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean several times. I was a sailing instructor at the Centre Nautique des Glénans and a PADI scuba diving instructor for many years. I teach sailing sailing for both beginners and experienced sailors who want to improve.

I have received many people on board my sailboat during the cruises and sailing courses that I have organized in the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, to share with them my experience, my knowledge of the sea and my constantly renewed pleasure in frequenting wild anchorages.

I have been practicing Yoga for 30 years and teaching it for many years, with a particular focus on the philosophical and spiritual aspect of the practice.

I also practice freediving and running.

I play guitar, piano and flute.

My experience

I am 58 years old. I wore out my first oilskins in Brittany 45 years ago. I became a sailing instructor at the Centre Nautique des Glénans at the age of eighteen. At the age of thirty, I bought my first sailboat, a ten-metre steel cutter , and set off for seven years to sail the China Sea, the Strait of Malacca and the Indian Ocean, from Thailand to the Seychelles, via Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Maldives, the wonderful Chagos archipelago, Madagascar, .... I crossed the Indian Ocean twice.

In need of sea, after many years of trips on land, I bought, 10 years ago, my current sailboat, a 15-meter wooden ketch, in order to live my dreams of tropical islands and vast oceans again. I have traveled with him more than forty thousand miles. I crisscrossed the western Mediterranean, explored the Caribbean Sea (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Grenadines, Panama, ...) and crossed the Atlantic Ocean twice.
