About me

I try to train crews made up of men and women who are passionate about the sea and freedom, which only life on a sailing boat can restore. We sail in full respect of nature, and we like to enjoy the excellent local food, mixed with our chats and good wine. When we get on board and set sail, we turn our backs on the hustle and bustle of dry land, and we take all the time we need to discover new places and people, which can make us feel good. On board, we like to rediscover and reappropriate the values and primary needs that make us truly happy, and this makes us feel like aware individuals. And if the "magic" happens, the sailboat turns into a small community, where you can afford to share passions, talents and lay bare your weaknesses, and that's where we become a crew... and all this gives meaning to everything!

My experience

I learned to sail at the age of 12 on dinghies (laser and 470). I have always sailed wherever I have lived and since 2011 I have been organizing sailing cruises in Sicily and the smaller islands (Aeolian and Egadi). My sailing cruises are intense without being strenuous. Relaxing without being boring. Exciting without being stressful. Seeing is believing... Qualifications obtained: 2012 Boat License - Without Limits (Motor and Sailing); 2014 ISAF Offshore Certificate (Personal Survival Training Course); 2014 BLSD-PBLSD (Basic Life Support Defibrillation Adult+Pedriatic) Certificate; 2024 SRC (Short Range Certificate) ; 2024 PSSR (Personal Safety & Social Responsabilities) Certificate; 2024 PSTT (Personal Survival Techniques Training) Certificate; 2024 FPFF (Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting) Certificate; 2024 FAMC (First Aid & Medical Care) Certificate.

All above my expectations!! Very dubious in writing a review so as not to risk not finding a place on Sun Beam anymore! I was probably lucky, a full crew in perfect harmony from the first moment, we loved each other very much and we had a lot of fun! This was possible only because we were captained by Davide who welcomed us on his boat, overwhelming us with his creativity, availability and extreme organization, allowing us, in full and constant safety of the entire crew with different sailing experiences, to fully enjoy the wonders of the Egadi islands, satisfying the eyes and the heart!! I think Sicily is wonderful and that Davide is a special captain. T O P

Everything perfect! Davide is absolutely one of the best skippers we have sailed with. Very attentive to all the details, authoritative in keeping the point with the crew and super stepping with a bbq on board. Super-equipped boat even with dolphins to amaze guests on the last days 😃.
