My name is Gabriella S, I am 48 years old, I am the mother of an 11-year-old boy and a former professional sailor. I have sailed for work on boats and sailing ships between 14 and 30 meters, around the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, down to French Polynesia, and with some brief experience also in the northern seas. Skipper or hostess, sailor or cook, it didn't matter: sailing and discovering the world have been my job and my passion for almost 2 decades. Today, together with Nicola, I accompany other families to discover the magic of family sailing holidays, this year in the Aeolian Islands. My name is Nicola, I am 11 years old and when I was 5 years old I went to live with my mother on our sailboat, sailing during the summer. Then we stopped in Sicily, I started elementary school, and when there were 3 of me we went back to staying in a house. For 4 years I have been sailing with my mother all summer and I am happy because there are always other children and we have fun.
