About me

Hi, I'm Luca, I've always been passionate about sailing, I started sailing at the age of 8. I then participated in several courses and regattas and I specialized more and more. Today I am a full-time FIV skipper and instructor and I couldn't be happier than this! During the winter I follow my other passion: skiing; in fact, I am an alpine ski instructor.

My experience

I participated in several FIV sailing courses to learn while having fun. I have participated in regattas both offshore and dinghy, also obtaining good results. I have raced in national and international Snipe regattas. At 16 I started teaching first as an ADI and later as an FIV Instructor. I am in possession of a BLS-D first aid license and ISAF Offshore Personal Survival Training Course, ISAF certification valid for participation in Offshore regattas. Today my job is the FIV skipper and instructor of dinghies and keelboat yachts and one-designs. I also collaborate for the Italian Sailing Federation as a FIV Trainer and Zonal Tutor.

A perfect Sunday with Matteo, Mariateresa and a group of new friends who have just met. Although the sea was a bit capricious and the wave made us dance for a while, Matteo (the skipper) managed to find a sheltered place for us to enjoy a wonderful day. We were on board with Matteo and Maria Teresa last Sunday and it was a beautiful day. A serene escape and laughter that we needed.
