About us

My name is Stefano and the sea has been my life for over 40 years. In all this time I have sailed and organized cruises in most of the Mediterranean, in the Atlantic and in the Caribbean Sea, also facing several ocean crossings, the last in 2014.

I graduated from ISEF, but I left teaching early to follow what was already a great passion and which then became my real job. Over the years I have had the opportunity to participate and work in contexts of the highest level, including the America's Cup in Valencia 2006/2007 and several ocean campaigns such as Vendée Globe, Route du Rhum and Transat Jacques Vabre, where I collaborated as an IMOCA boat tuner. To these are added many regattas, transfers and activities at sea, without ever abandoning two aspects that are fundamental to me: sailing school and cruises, both with owned boats and with rental boats.

Since 1995 I have been a member of the 1st category Seafarers with the title of conductor of pleasure boats used for rental. Since 1997 I have also been a 2nd level FIV National Instructor and I have obtained several professional certifications, including the IMO STCW95, GMDSS and ISAF courses.

Since 2010 I have been sailing with my Sun Odyssey 49 from the Jeanneau shipyards. My goal is always the same: to continue to share with my guests the passion, emotions and authentic pleasure of going to sea

Week under the sign of the sun together with a dynamic and efficient group, authoritative skipper, of extreme experience and awareness in sailing safely. Sometimes not very malleable in the decisions, and in comparison with the crew, but a good dose of empathy, persuasion, on the part of all, every goal, desire, need was achieved, thus crowning a wonderful week of magnificent places and healthy fun. Recommended. Gian Luca .

An extremely prudent sailing experience, suitable for those seeking maximum tranquility. I state that I have several sailing holidays behind me, so I know the rhythms on board and the fundamental role of the skipper. Precisely for this reason, I would like to leave a balanced and objective review, which highlights both the positive sides and the aspects that have limited our experience. Starting from the positive notes, the boat itself is very comfortable and spacious, equipped with 4 cabins and 4 bathrooms, which guaranteed excellent livability on board even during an important crossing such as the one to reach Corsica. In addition, the skipper is an elderly and highly experienced person, who puts the safety of the crew and the boat first. He has always made himself available to accompany us ashore with the tender whenever we needed it, guaranteeing us comfortable and safe disembarkations. However, in other respects, the holiday was affected by a management that was perhaps too rigid. The aspects of navigation that most influenced the week were the management of the draft and the very conservative moorings. The boat has a large draft, which undoubtedly requires attention. However, the skipper's caution was in my opinion excessive. We stopped almost exclusively in roadsteads well known to him and very sheltered, often far from the most famous and evocative points, such as Isola Piana, which we were able to see only after much insistence. Coves with shallow waters and turquoise waters were systematically avoided, always keeping a safe distance well above what was necessary. In addition, there were few trips once at the destination. Although they covered an important route arriving in Corsica, once they arrived there, daily travel was reduced to a minimum. It became very difficult and rare to move to change bays or explore the surroundings once the anchor was dropped. During the journeys, navigation took place far offshore. Even during longer transfers, the skipper tended to always sail in very open seas, staying at a great distance from the mainland, which did not allow us to enjoy the coastal views. This also affected the logistics of the bathrooms and activities. Always mooring at a great distance from the shore, it was not possible to enjoy the sea swimming, and in SUP we struggled a lot to cover the distances starting directly from the boat. This has limited a bit the spontaneity and freedom typical of a holiday at sea. Finally, we did little sailing. Despite the days of good wind, navigation took place mainly by motor. In summary, it was a holiday with a very quiet pace and a strongly conservative approach. I think it is ideal for those who are at their first experience and are looking for very calm rhythms and maximum caution; those who already have experience and are looking for the spirit of sailing and active exploration of the coves may find this style a little too limiting.

Authentic sailing holiday with great interaction for the whole group, in which everyone immediately felt at ease. The area of the Maddalena archipelago offers a lot, and it is essential to know the places and times well to avoid the crowds and the less suitable areas. The departure from Olbia is very comfortable, but in my opinion it is advisable to do everything to leave the port as soon as possible on the first day to save time. We visited as much as possible in 6 days, one of which unfortunately spent fighting bad weather, but these are things to take into account. In the end, however, it turned out to be a very instructive experience. Thanks to the almost constant presence of the wind, we were able to sail long stretches. We benefited from the experience of a lifetime on the boat of skipper Stefano, who made us collaborate in the maneuvers and made us appreciate all the activities on board even more. The boat is comfortable and efficient, we did not encounter any problems.
