This experience, in a nutshell

Let yourself be accompanied to discover the Aeolian Islands: Vulcano, Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi, Alicudi, Salina, Tindari lakes, by those who have made this destination their favorite destination.

You will live an experience of sensations made up of colors, scents, sounds and flavors that will open the doors of Sicilian tradition and acclaimed hospitality.

On board our boat you will sail between these beautiful islands, surrounded by crystal clear waters of extraordinary beauty, which will be the backdrop to the sailing holiday.

On board you will live, we will live a genuine natural experience, we will sail to quiet bays where we will have lunch between sunbathing and sea, we will be able to admire sunrises, sunsets and constellations that we thought had disappeared from the skies, with a subtle and light rhythm of life that flows at its best.

The Aeolian Islands are volcanic islands, daughters of the 4 elements: air, water, earth and fire.

The Aeolian Islands emerged from the sea during the Pleistocene, about a million years ago, and since then eruptions have changed their size and appearance several times.

Leg 1

Saturday

Boarding from 5 pm to 11 pm

Leg 2

Sunday

After breakfast we will sail to the nearby Volcano. Excursion to the Gran Cratere (one hour) and visit of the village. We will hoist the sails to reach the nearby Lipari, welcomes us, its ancient Castle, a bath to make the tiredness of the journey disappear in front of the white pumice quarries.

In the afternoon we will point our bow to Panarea. We can anchor in front of the terrace of the famous Raja, for an aperitif at sunset looking at Stromboli, or anchor near Cala Junco to visit the prehistoric village and get to the Raja on foot.

Panarea has a small archipelago: Lisca bianca, Lisca Nera, Bottaro, Spinazzolo and Basiluzzo and we will visit it by sailing.

Leg 3

Monday

We will move to Basiluzzo or the islet of Lisca Bianca, anchor for a beautiful swim and there will be time for snorkeling.

Monday, afternoon sailing to Stromboli, its Sciara del Fuoco, its black beaches, its transparent or deep blue sea. Dinner on land in the Observatory's pizzeria restaurant with exclusive views of the craters.

Leg 4

Tuesday

Waking up in Stromboli and beautiful bath. We now sail to Salina, with a refreshing stop in Panarea, the greenest of the islands, and since the navigation is longer than usual we will anchor for lunch in a still unvisited point of Panarea, the Faraglione of Cala La Nave.

Arriving in Pollara, a wonderful small inlet with walls overlooking the sea, we will see the places of the film The Postman with Massimo Troisi and Philippe Noiret. The inlet has a small stack in the center which is what remains of the ancient volcano sunk into the sea.

In the afternoon we sail towards Filicudi, the island where the captain would like to anchor and not leave.

Leg 5

Wednesday

We will be able to go ashore for those who want to have breakfast at the Saloon, a meeting point for the island's alternatives. In Filicudi there is an extraordinary 70-meter-high columnar rock, La Canna, far from the coast. For some it may be a challenge with themselves, but it will be worth taking a tour around the Rod with mask and fins and the assistance of the tender together with the others.

After lunch we will return to Salina, Cala Santa Marina, all ashore, an aperitif walking along the main street and then dinner on land or for those who want to dine on board the trusty tender is ready as always.

Leg 6

Thursday

Lazy awakening and short navigation to Lipari, Valle Maria beach, large sandy bay and swim at the Porta dei Giganti (stacks). In Lipari we will have time for a nice tour of shops and cafes and then dinner on board or on land.

For the night we will be quietly moored at the port of Lipari.

Leg 7

Friday

Breakfast, a few more bays of Lipari and/or Vulcano. After lunch we headed for Capo D'Orlando.

It will be possible to disembark starting from Friday evening

Leg 8

Saturday

Disembarkation by 9:00 am.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

I start this review with this quote: "In life it doesn't matter where you go but with whom you go". A fantastic group of old and new friends. The skipper Dario, always professional and attentive to the safety of the crew, made us sail in fantastic places full of history. To do it again definitely!!

Aeolian Islands: sun, sport, music, good food... The rest is magic!

It is difficult to summarize what can be built in seven days on this holiday. I must admit that sometimes luck plays, sometimes even just the common sense of understanding that everyone in the world would like to live a good experience, and education and good humor are the main ingredients for this good success. So the first thanks goes to the crew I found on this holiday! Thank you, I still have a thousand scenes that come back to mind and bring me a smile. While, for those who read, curious to leave and understand how this experience is compared to the others: Dario, the captain is a person of heart, true Sicilian, by birth and choice. Very accurate in organization and navigation. The boat is perfectly maintained. The sea and the Aeolian Islands are beautiful, and even more so the stars that you can see in the evening and the laughter that will be created with the group. I recommend this experience to everyone to recharge your energy with naps lulled by the boat, regenerate yourself with dives at dawn and the good food that even the captain, spoiling you, can prepare for you.

The places seen were very beautiful and suggestive, Dario undertook to vary the program according to the weather so that we could see as much as possible, he also gave us good advice on where to eat. Do the climb to Stromboli because it is not difficult and worth the spectacle you will see. The boat is cozy and well maintained, but the spaces are cramped and life on the boat is hard, be ready and if you have any doubts ask in advance, the most difficult parts for me were: the management of the toilet; little shade above the boat; little air and very hot inside the boat. I was sorry, however, that in some moments of the holiday Dario seemed particularly tired and unmotivated, with some moments of anxiety and bad mood transmitted to the whole group during a problem of uncertainty with the weather. Galley: my advice is to plan breakfasts and lunches on the boat and dinners on the islands, do not exaggerate with the expense.

The beauty of the Aeolian Islands is fully enjoyed thanks to the safe management of the boat and the genuine Sicilian sympathy of Captain Dario, worthy heir of his father Vincenzo.
