Are you looking for ideas on how to spend the long weekend of June 2nd?

Here's one: exploring the wonderful Tremiti islands on a sailboat!

The Tremiti out of season are a real gem: no umbrellas, very few tourists and nature everywhere around us. We will be able to visit the green San Domino, the historic San Nicola and drop anchor a short distance from the submerged statue of San Pio, located 13 meters deep in front of the uninhabited island of Capraia, on the edge of the protected nature reserve.

The appointment is in Rodi Garganico on the evening of the day of embarkation. The old village of Rhodes is delightful, perfect for a dinner or a walk overlooking the sea. We will set sail the next morning from the modern Marina of Rodi Garganico, full of bars, restaurants and elegant shops; We will return to the same port by the afternoon of the day of disembarkation.

PLEASE NOTE: The itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions. This holiday is suitable for everyone: beginners and experts, lovers of navigation and lovers of absolute relaxation.

Our itinerary

Indicative itinerary (N.B. may vary depending on weather and sea conditions)

Day 1 :

Embarkation in Rodi Garganico in the evening, accommodation in a double cabin, galley and dinner on board or in one of the many excellent restaurants in the village.

Day 2 :

Morning sail to San Domino (20 miles, 4 to 5 hours depending on weather). Mooring at the buoy and lunch on board. Free afternoon for swimming, SUP rides and exploration of the interior of the island of San Domino.

Day 3:

Visit the island of St. Nicholas and its impressive abbey, dating back to the eleventh century. Return by boat and, in the afternoon, a short sail around San Nicola to anchor under the island of Capraia.

Day 4:

Day at leisure for relaxation and swimming. In the afternoon return to San Domino and possible dinner on land to toast the holiday!

Day 5:

Departure in the morning for Rodi Garganico, with arrival expected around 2 pm.

A beautiful week of sailing! We explored the Gargano coast visiting the typical villages such as Vieste and Rodi Garganico. Then with a pleasant crossing we reached the Tremiti for itineraries along the coasts full of caves and with excursions to the islands of San Domino and San Nicola, between nature and architectural heritage. Luca has always guided us with his usual sympathy accompanied by his deep experience in sailing !!
