It is advisable to fly from Venice or Milan to Miami with a flight cost between € 410 and € 480, spend a night in Florida with all the participants and the next day fly directly to Marsh Harbour International Airport (IATA code: MHH) from Miami (cost between € 260 and € 310). The Harbour View Marina is an easy 10-minute taxi ride from the airport (€20)

The planned itinerary describes some rough stages that may vary depending on the weather. Remember that the spirit with which you get on board is to have fun and experience the sea and sailing at 360 °, so time and wind will always have the last word.

Ideal are long-life products, avoid frozen products

Fruit and vegetables are fine, you can make delicious sauces with fresh vegetables, but let's remember not to overdo it as they are perishable foods quickly, so we could take advantage of the ports to stock up!

Water: 2 liters per day per person (remember that if you have a skipper, he is your guest and therefore at your expense, not only for the water) better more than less.

Spirits are not bad! (but the skipper cannot drink alcohol! Pursuant to Article 53-bis. Driving pleasure craft under the influence of alcohol)

Wine or prosecco cannot be missing unless you are all teetotalers.

Once the list of the galley has been agreed, before boarding, a couple of people will take on the task of procuring it.

Kitchen: similar to the one at home, but ask how to use it and where to find accessories!

We will find dishes and dishes already gross, we will check that we have detergents and biodegradable cleaning products that can be used without polluting.

However, let's remember that water on board is precious if we want to stay at anchor independently, we could save it by washing the dishes with sea water and then drying them thoroughly.

Below deck you don't go with shoes (of any kind), in this way we will have a cleaner boat.

The bathroom: it looks like the one at home but it is not, absolutely avoid throwing paper or

other in the exhaust. If it gets clogged it is not nice and we will lose its use for a while, so each time you use it put the paper in the appropriate bin in the bathroom.

Cabin: neatly arrange your things; if the cabin is shared, respect other people's spaces.

We prefer soft suitcases (trolly or similar to be avoided) so we can store them better once emptied (the spaces on the boat are different from those at home).

Clothing: appropriate for the season, but a windbreaker (if you don't have an oilskin) can be useful, because when sailing, if it rains, we can't stop under a bridge.

A must-have swimsuit and a sweatshirt if it gets cooler in the evening.

Hats and sunglasses are always better to have them in tow, the sun reflects in the water and could annoy you over time, the hat prevents you from getting sunstroke.

Shoes with white or light soles, avoid black or dark soles so as not to mark the blanket, for women unfortunately no heels (on board) rock shoes recommended for swimming on the coast. On the boat, you can stand barefoot, but when maneuvering it is always better to wear shoes because the blanket is full of pitfalls for the poor toes of your foot! Getting hurt on board is not nice and moreover it would ruin the cruise.

Remember that when we get on board a boat we will be available to the Captain who is responsible for it, for the safety on board and navigation, therefore for needs or problems of any kind, we always refer to him.

Catamaran navigation allows us to have ample space to use comfortably: the boat is still available to everyone, and everyone will have to collaborate for the success of maneuvers and sailings as well as order and accommodation on board.

The crew could be made up of friends, or strangers, so respect for everyone will be essential for the success of the cruise, as if you were a single team! Remember that your freedom ends where another's begins. Sailing must be relaxing, so let's avoid dangerous or stressful situations, especially if we have people on board who are not competent or prepared for the sea.
