This experience, in a nutshell

The course aims to provide notions and practical tests of all the basic topics that lead to the management of a sailing boat: specifically of a class A cabin cruiser (we use boats ranging from 10 to 15 meters equipped in total for navigation beyond 12 nautical miles from the coast).

Negative experience, the weather conditions forced us to return to the port in Piombino for 3 nights. The heavy rain created inconvenience for us because the water entered the cabins, wetting the mattresses. We have some doubts about the behavior of Captain Paolo starting from the lack of assistance in making galleys to retracing the same stretch of coast of the island of Elba 2 times and spending 3 nights at anchor in Porto Azzurro. On the last day we sailed only for a stretch returning to Piombino. More than a sailing holiday, it was motorized. We hope to be luckier in the future.
