This experience, in a nutshell

Welcome aboard!

We invite you to experience an unforgettable week exploring the most fascinating islands of the Gulf of Naples and the Pontine Archipelago. Our itinerary will take us between Ischia, Procida, Ventotene, Ponza and Palmarola, places where history, relaxation and unspoiled nature come together in a unique experience.

On board, every day is designed for adventure and relaxation. We will wake up lulled by the waves, have breakfast immersed in the tranquility of the roadstead, and sail to spectacular bays for snorkeling, swimming or simply lying down to sunbathe. For lunch, we'll enjoy simple dishes with fresh local products, before resuming sailing. The evenings will be magical, with dinners under the starry sky, the possibility of going ashore to explore the villagesor simply sharing pleasant moments on board.

Sailing with us means experiencing the sea in complete freedom. We will guide you to discover hidden coves, golden beaches and picturesque corners, allowing you to immerse yourself in local traditions and flavors.

The boat will be your houseboat. No previous experience is required: you are invited to actively participate in life on board and, if you wish, you can practice sailing and sailing. You will be guided by an experienced instructor who will ensure your safety and teach you the secrets of the sea. All you need is a pinch of spirit of adventure and passion for the sea.

We are ready to set sail for 7 days and 7 nights.

Leg 2

Sunday

Wake up with the colors of the sea that will make our eyes sparkle, breakfast on board and first baths. We will then start sailing towards Ventotene.

We will face several miles and the sail will be the ideal opportunity to learn the rudiments of sailing. We will be able to take turns at the helm and adjust halyards and sheets, just like a real sailing crew. We will reach Ventotene, an island rich in history and unspoiled landscapes, quiet, wild and far from mass tourism, frequented by sailors and tourists looking for relaxation.

Depending on the weather conditions, we will evaluate whether to stay overnight in the roadstead in Ventotene or continue sailing towards Ponza with arrival in the evening. In both cases, dinner and overnight stay in the roadstead, with the possibility of going ashore.

N.B.: The program described will be respected in its entirety only if the wind and sea conditions allow it.

Sunday

Leg 3

Monday

Day to discover the most beautiful bays of Ponza. We will be able to admire the Caves of Pilate (from Roman times), the Faraglioni della Madonna and the famous Chiaia di Luna, with its fascinating sandy cove dominated by an imposing cliff. We will be spoiled for choice!

Ponza deserves at least two days of visit. Together we will decide which evening to go ashore and which to spend on the boat, admiring the starry sky. We will position ourselves in a strategic roadstead, choosing the most comfortable and quiet spot to spend the night according to the best weather and sea conditions.

Alternatives:

- We will be able to spend the night in the roadstead in front of the village, with the possibility of going ashore before or after dinner to savor the Pontine atmosphere, take a look at the shops or sip a drink.

- Alternatively: In the afternoon we can leave for Palmarola and spend the night at anchor there.

Leg 4

Tuesday

On board, life flows to the rhythm of the sea!

The morning will be the ideal time to enjoy a relaxing awakening in the fantastic bays that we will have available.

During the days between Ponza and Palmarola, we will decide together the itinerary day by day. The choice of the best roadstead to spend fun days and quiet nights will be based on weather and sea conditions, always ensuring maximum safety and maximum fun.

N.B.: The choice of anchorage points and the continuation of the program will be respected in their entirety if the wind and sea conditions allow it.

Tuesday

Leg 5

Wednesday

Breakfast and lunch in the roadstead in one of the coves of Ponza and in the early afternoon departure for Ventotene.Ventotene is known for its beaches and sheltered coves with crystal clear waters, many of which are part of the marine protected area. We will choose one of these for a swim stop.

In the evening there will be an overnight stay in the port of Ventotene. It will be the perfect opportunity to go ashore and visit the beauties of this island.

Note: During the week, you plan to spend at least one night in port, generally on Wednesdays, to break up your trip. In the event that the weather and sea conditions are not favorable, we may consider anticipating, postponing or adding additional nights in port.

Wednesday

Leg 6

Thursday

We will start the day with a breakfast all together in the square of Ventotene, and then we will leave for Ischia. The goal is to visit the western side of the island.

We'll drop anchor at the bay of Sant'Angelo, a unique place where the sea has a magnificent variety of shapes and colors. The rocky walls and seabed rich in black coral (a rarity of the Mediterranean Sea) make this bay a must-see.

There will be the opportunity to go ashore for a visit to the village of Sant'Angelo.

In the afternoon we will leave for Naples, returning to the base by 18:00.

Our last evening on land will be dedicated to a pizza with friends, during which we will be able to tell each other about the experiences lived during the holiday, perhaps with a good glass of wine.

We stayed on GEM for the weekend in Capri. Hospitality and Top Professionalism! The skipper is a prepared and kind person, the boat is very well maintained and with all the necessary comforts. Experience to be redone, congratulations to Spasso a Vela.

June 2nd long weekend: discovering Capri, Ischia and Procida

Very comfortable, spacious and clean sailboat. Gennaro proved to be a nice and helpful skipper, helping to make the experience on board pleasant, and also participating in land trips. Less convincing, however, was the management of the itinerary: the moorings were often far from the coast, even with favorable weather conditions, and the stops did not allow you to explore exclusive places that could only be reached by sea. Furthermore, despite being part of the program, the tender was never used, limiting the possibilities of visiting coves and more hidden areas. Overall, a relaxing and pleasant experience, but below expectations in terms of exploration and itinerary, considering that the context would have allowed it.

For us it was the first experience on a sailing boat and it couldn't have gone better. In our opinion, behind the experience, there are the people: Gennaro, the skipper, was the real wild card as well as the glue of this magnificent weekend. An exquisite person. We couldn't have wished for anything better. A guy (I hope he won't be offended) with whom every chat was constructive and full of ideas. Furthermore, to end on a high note, a further point of awareness that I took home is that thanks to him and this adventure I decided to want to obtain my boat license soon. We highly recommend this lifetime experience!
