This experience, in a nutshell

A week on a sailing boat along the north coast of Corsica, among wild bays, crystal clear water and corners that can only be reached from the sea.

We will sail between Cap Corse, Saint-Florent and the Agriates desert, alternating moments of sailing, relaxation and swimming stops in pristine coves. The days follow natural rhythms, between navigation, aperitifs at sunset and nights at anchor or in port.

The experience is designed to be accessible to everyone: no boat experience is required. Those who want can actively participate in the navigation, or simply enjoy the trip.

The atmosphere on board is convivial and informal, ideal for both solo travelers and small groups of friends.

Embarkation and disembarkation are scheduled in Bastia, easily accessible from Italy by ferry or plane.

The itinerary may vary according to weather conditions, to always guarantee safety and quality of the experience.

Our itinerary

The itinerary develops along the north coast of Corsica, departing and returning from Bastia, and is designed to combine navigation, relaxation and discovery of some of the most beautiful and wild areas of the island.

After boarding, we'll start sailing along Cap Corse, characterized by cliffs, small villages and uncrowded bays.

We'll then continue to Saint-Florent, the gateway to the Agriates desert, where you'll find some of the most spectacular beaches in Corsica, which can be reached mainly by sea.

During the week we will alternate moments of navigation with stops at anchor in crystal clear waters, ideal for swimming, relaxation and life on board. The evenings can be spent in the roadstead, surrounded by nature, or in the port, with the possibility of going ashore and visiting the villages.

The itinerary is not rigid but flexible: it will be adapted to weather and sea conditions to ensure safety, comfort and the best possible experience.

Each day will be a balance between sailing, discovery and moments of relaxation, without haste and following the natural rhythms of the sea.

🚗 By car
Bastia is located in Corsica; to reach it by vehicle you need to drive to one of the ports of embarkation on the French or Italian coast and embark your car on the ferry; the main access motorways are the A8 in France (towards Nice, Toulon, Marseille) and the A10/A12 (E80) in Italy to Savona, Genoa and Livorno; the boarding terminals are located in the ports of Nice, Marseille, Toulon, Savona, Genoa and Livorno, with transfer times from urban centers approximately between 15 and 40 minutes depending on the point of departure; Boarding procedures require check-in at the terminal and the vehicle is stowed on board, so you must arrive at the port in advance according to the instructions of the shipping company.

🚆 By train
On the mainland, the useful stations to continue towards the ports are Marseille Saint-Charles, Nice-Ville, Genoa (Piazza Principe/Brignole) and Livorno Centrale; from Paris, TGVs reach Marseille in about 3 hours and Nice in about 5 hours and 40 minutes, while from Milan regional connections to Genoa take about 1 hour and 30 minutes; from the main stations there are local connections (buses, trams, taxis or shuttles) that take you to the port terminals in times varying between 10 and 35 minutes; Bastia has a train station served by the regional Corsican network, which connects the town to other locations on the island.

✈️ By plane
The nearest airport is Bastia-Poretta (code BIA), located about 20-25 km from the center of Bastia with transfer times by car or taxi of 25-35 minutes; seasonal and continuous connections are operational with Paris (Charles de Gaulle/Orly), Lyon, Marseille, Nice and some Italian and European airports, managed by carriers such as Air France, Volotea and easyJet; Shuttle, taxi and car rental services are available from the air terminal for transfers to the city centre and the port.

⛴️ By ferry/hydrofoil
The port of Bastia receives maritime connections from Nice, Savona/Genoa, Livorno, Toulon and Marseille; the main companies operating routes to Bastia are Corsica Ferries, Corsica Linea and La Méridionale; the approximate durations of the ferries vary according to the port of departure and the type of service: Livorno 4-5 hours, Savona/Genoa 5-7 hours, Nice 4-6 hours, Toulon 6-8 hours and Marseille night routes around 10-14 hours; the passenger and cargo terminals of Bastia are located in the port area and have areas dedicated to check-in and disembarkation.

LITTLE ATTENTION TO THE ORGANIZATION OF GROUND SERVICES. A LOT OF ATTENTION HAS BEEN PAID TO SAFETY FOR THE MRTEO WHICH HAS CONDITIONED THE DESTINATIONS. WHICH HAVE BEEN REDUCED HAVING STAYED 3 NIGHTS IN PORT. I WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THE NAVIGATION ACTIVITIES DESPITE POSSESSING A BOAT LICENSE OVER 12 MILES WHILE THE OPPOSITE FOR OTHER COMPONENTS SUPPORTING THE BOAT. THE BOAT HAD PORTHOLES THAT WERE NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL.

From the beginning, Marco proved to be an attentive and passionate guide. His knowledge of the area and the sea was thorough and punctual, providing us with not only cultural information, but also guiding us through hidden bays and secluded coves, revealing corners of paradise that we would never have discovered on our own. In addition to his sailing expertise, Marco proved to be a great communicator and a very pleasant travel companion and involved us in the decisions regarding the itinerary. What made this holiday special was the trust that Marco placed in us. Right from the start he involved us in the maneuvers of the boat, explaining the basics of navigation and mooring.

In our beautiful holiday we were lucky enough to have 2 skippers.. Andrea N., a highly experienced skipper, manoeuvred with great confidence accompanied by sympathy and lightness. Marco F., in addition to having great harmony and coordination with the captain, proved to be a great entertainer with lessons ranging from sailing to history.
