This experience, in a nutshell

We are waiting for you to experience a magnificent week on board with us, including relaxing sailing, a break to have fun and discovering the most beautiful villages on the island of Elba and the ports of northern Corsica.

Here is our rough itinerary:

Sunday afternoon:
Boarding in Punta Ala at 5.00 pm.
Located at the southern end of the Gulf of Follonica, Punta Ala is an elegant seaside resort in the province of Grosseto, in the municipality of Castiglione della Pescaia. The tourist port of Punta Ala is one of the most beautiful of the Tuscan coast, its position is strategic and allows you to go both north (Elba, Capraia) and south (Giglio, Argentario). After having done the galley and refueling, towards evening we will reach the calm waters of Cala Violina, in the Gulf of Follonica where we will spend the night at anchor.

Monday:
Sailing towards the east coast of Elba , stop and relax in the small bay of Ortano, limited to the south by an islet, one of the best known beaches in the Municipality of Rio Marina , with clear water ideal for snorkeling. Stop for lunch and swim in one of the characteristic coves of the north of Elba. Towards evening we will reach Portoferraio , the main port of the island with a "natural" character with the possibility of mooring in the port or at anchor in the deep and sheltered gulf.

Tuesday:
Route to Capraia , the magical island of sailors. Capraia offers great emotions to lovers of the sea, with its splendid coast and seabed to explore. Night at anchor or in the suggestive and very small port of Marina di Capraia .

Wednesday:
Breakfast and then set sail for Corsica and its splendid waters. During the navigation we will touch the mythical rock of the Giraglia , known for giving its name to one of the most famous regattas in the Mediterranean. After having rounded the Cap Corse and a refreshing swim, in the evening we will land in the bay of San Florent, with a stop at anchor or in the port, according to availability. Saint Florent is a lively and noisy town, full of charm, ideal for a dip in the worldliness a stone's throw from the most spectacular beaches of Corsica. Evening in freedom.

Thursday:
We set sail for the Agriates Desert , renowned for its white sand beaches, among which one of the most beautiful and famous is certainly Plage de Saleccia . After a day of sun and swimming in turquoise waters, in the evening we will return to the bay of Saint Florent to spend the night in one of the beautiful bays of Corsica.

Friday:
Setting sail early in the morning we will sail again towards Cap Corse and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. A swim in the waters of Capraia and then route to Capo San Andrea on Elba. After a quick stop in Fetovaia, one of the most evocative beaches of the island, characterized by fine and golden granite sand, protected by Punta Fetovaia, a wild promontory covered by Mediterranean scrub, in the evening we will reach the large and comfortable bay of Marina di Campo and we will go to the discovery of this picturesque old town, with its characteristic marina. Marina di Campo has been, since the 1950s, one of the historic localities of Elban international tourism, so much so that it is called "The little Viareggio".

Saturday:
After breakfast and a stop for a swim in one of the many bays on the south coast of Elba, you can have lunch in one of the charming restaurants on the beach in the Gulf of Porto Azzurro . In the afternoon, after a last swim in the clear waters of Elba, a peaceful sail back to Punta Ala and arrival in the Marina in the evening. Free evening for shopping, aperitif and dinner.

Sunday:
Breakfast and disembarkation before 9:00.

Note: This itinerary may be subject to variations due to weather conditions

We had an amazing sailing on a beautiful and exceptional yacht with a passionate and experienced comandante. Lucky with the weather we managed to see all the beautiful places we wanted to. Even on a first day when we had to stay in port and we visited San Pantaleo, a charming little village. Stefano, whose attention to safety and respect for the sea, made this a truly relaxing and recharging week for us. Till next time .. good winds! :)
