This experience, in a nutshell

A week on a sailing boat in the Argentario, with stops on the Island of Giglio and Giannutri, allows you to explore this stretch of coast from a different perspective, with daily movements depending on the wind and sea conditions.

The days are marked by navigation and stops at anchor, often in coves that can only be reached by sea. Here you can swim, relax on board or go ashore with the tender for short visits.

Along the Argentario promontory there are sheer cliffs, small bays and villages such as Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, while the islands of Giglio and Giannutroffer clear waters, transparent seabeds and wilder landscapes.

Life on board requires a minimum of organization and collaboration between the participants, especially for the management of spaces, meals and navigation. The pace is generally quiet and relaxed, but can vary depending on the distances to be covered and the weather conditions.

In the evening you can stay anchored in the bay or enter the port, depending on your preferences and availability. In both cases, it is an experience that combines navigation, direct contact with nature and a certain autonomy compared to a traditional holiday.

Participation in the experience requires registration with the Amateur Sports Association and sports membership, already included in the fee. There is also a basic sailing course that will take place during the week.

It is essential to present a non-competitive medical certificate, usually issued by the general practitioner, to be delivered before departure.

Trolleys or hard suitcases are not allowed on board: only the use of a soft bag is allowed.

Our itinerary

The week on a sailing boat in the Argentario, with boarding in Porto Ercole, includes accommodation on board in the afternoon, an initial briefing and the organization of the galley.

After the first night, generally spent in the port or in a nearby roadstead, the navigations along the promontory and towards the islands of Giglio and Giannutri begin.

In the following days, navigation alternates with stops in sheltered bays, chosen according to weather and sea conditions. During the week you have the opportunity to explore coves and different stretches of coast, with the possibility of swimming, relaxing on board or going ashore for short visits.

Nights can be spent at anchor or in port, depending on the itinerary and the preferences of the crew.

Towards the end of the week we gradually return to Porto Ercole, with disembarkation expected in the morning on the last day.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.
