At sea, it is essential to wear suitable clothing to cope with heat, cold and humidity. You can bring outfits that you usually use for your outdoor hobbies, such as those dedicated to sailing. Otherwise, clothing intended for walking, hiking or the mountains will be perfectly suitable. Opt for clothing made of fleece fibers, polyester or natural wool, and avoid 100% cotton, which retains moisture and takes a long time to dry. The layering method is the most practical, the most effective, and the least cumbersome.

Don't forget to protect all parts of the body: the head, eyes, neck, torso, legs and feet.

In Brittany, Saint-Malo is accessible by car thanks to the many free expressways. You can also get there by train via the TER lines, with connections from Normandy. There is a direct TGV line from Paris Montparnasse (about 2 hours 27 minutes) or a connection via Rennes (about 2 hours 45 minutes). From other departure points, connections via Rennes or Paris are possible.

For those coming from the UK, you can take the ferry from Jersey, Guernsey or Portsmouth. It is also possible to fly from London Stansted, East Midlands (Nottingham/Leicester) or Guernsey, with a landing at Pleurtuit Airport, located 8 km from Saint-Malo.

The skipper will take care of the basic refreshments at the beginning of the cruise, but don't hesitate to bring your little treats to share with the rest of the crew.

To ensure your comfort and encourage active participation, the number of passengers is deliberately limited to 5 people. You will sleep on board in your cabin, and meals will be taken on board.
