This experience, in a nutshell

There are places where nature speaks to you, Chilean Patagonia is one of them more than any other.

The whistling of the wind of the vociferous sixties, the crash of the glaciers that throw themselves into the sea, the snow, the hail but also the sun, the flight of the condor, are there to remind you that you are just tolerated under penalty of adaptation. But rest assured, we know the area well.

Our comfortable and reassuring sailboat will set sail from Puerto Williams (Chile) in the south of Tierra del Fuego. We will discover the famous SENO (a kind of fjord) of the Chilean canals where the glaciers pour into the sea, a universe of mountains with eternal snow and waterfalls, our course in the north-west and south-west brazo of the BEAGLE channel will take us through anchorages of unparalleled beauty, the seno PIA with its three glaciers, Cinco Estrellas, Caleta Coloane for the most famous and secret places that only your captain knows.

Then descend to the Wollaston archipelago, near the famous Cape Horn and the passage of Cape HORN if the weather conditions are favourable.

The observation of fauna (penguins, penguins, sea lions, whales, albatrosses, condors etc...) and local flora (lichens, arboles, banderas etc...) will be your daily life. As soon as possible we will also have barbecues on the beach, a moment always appreciated

Navigation is done during the day and at night we are at anchor with ropes attached to the trees (two at the back and often one at the front) to secure the boat during the night.

A stay in a pristine nature that will remain engraved deep in your soul.

You will be a team member in your own right. You will participate in the manoeuvres of the boat and in the life on board. This includes household chores (meals, dishes, cleaning, etc. from which the captain is exempt) and good humor !

It should be noted that the passage of Cape HORN is subject to weather conditions. We are not going to put ourselves in the lion's mouth when he shows his teeth. Safety remains our priority

If the passage of the HORN cannot be done we will navigate in the channels (sheltered from the sea of the sea) which is the most spectacular (navigation at the foot of the glaciers etc.)

If you want to explore the natural wonders and beauties of Patagonie on board a sailing ship with an experienced skipper, you should not hesitate to book this cruise. Besides breathtaking glaciers, waterfaslls and mountains, you will be able to see different animals such as whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions, penguins, condors, cormorants etc. The circumnavigation of Cap Horn puts the crown on it all. The trip is a unique experience that I can recommend to everyone!
