This experience, in a nutshell

Within the setting of Giglio Castello, on the last weekend of September, the long-awaited appointment with the "Grape and Open Cellars Festival" returns, the traditional food and wine festival that substantially closes the 2025 tourist season and we will be at the forefront. to celebrate the end of summer.

It will be possible to enjoy the magical atmosphere of the Borgo Antico di Giglio Castello by tasting local dishes in the cellars set up in the narrow alleys, accompanied by the characteristic Ansona wine and itinerant music. For this year it is rumored that the open cellars will be more numerous than last year, in each of them it will be possible to taste a typical local dish, cooked by the island's restaurants and drink a glass of Ansonaco, to be chosen from local producers.

For this occasion, we will set sail from the port of Scarlino. We meet on Friday evening to set sail early on Saturday morning towards Giglio, lunch in the roadstead, wet and then we will enter the port and get ready to go up to Castello.

On Sunday, immediately after lunch, we will take the road back to Scarlino.

For those who have time and desire, you can start the cruise with the transfer from Rosignano to Scarlino with meeting on Thursday evening and also return from Scarlino to Rosignano on Monday morning

Easter on the Island of Elba

Very pleasant sailing experience. The boat was in good condition. Everything went according to expectations and the navigation was safe and relaxing. The only negative note concerns the owner, Enrico. During communications he was often grumpy, with a rather rigid attitude and not inclined to confrontation. This made the interaction less pleasant, especially at times when more availability and friendliness would have been useful. Overall, I recommend the experience for the quality of the boat and the service at sea, but I suggest the owner to improve the approach with customers to make everything really impeccable.

my wife and I spent a beautiful Easter. Enrico and Simone, in addition to discovering beautiful landscapes and glimpses of the area of Capraia and Elba, also offer a fantastic culinary experience. We had a lot of fun. Try again

We have just finished a week on a sailing boat and returned home with our hearts full of memories. Although bad weather forced the itinerary to be changed, the captain's skill turned a potential problem into an opportunity. We discovered unexpected and equally enchanting places, proving that adventure is not only in the destination but also in the journey. The atmosphere on board was the icing on the cake. There was a wonderful feeling among all the guests, and the evenings spent chatting and laughing under the stars were unforgettable. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, new friendships and the enchantment of the sea.

Fantastic experience! We embarked with Enrico and Simone and had a really relaxing week. They pampered us at every time of the day by preparing really delicious aperitifs, lunches and dinners. Enrico's experience as a skipper allowed us to enjoy sailing in total safety despite the adversity of the weather and also allowed us to learn small but valuable notions about sailing. Highly recommended experience!
