can be reached by car via the motorway: on the A10 (Autostrada dei Fiori) exit at the Savona or Vado Ligure junction proceeding from the east (Genoa) or west (Ventimiglia); the A6 directly connects Turin to Savona; from Milan take the A7 to Genoa and then the A10 westwards. Approximate distances: Genoa about 45 km, Turin about 120 km, Milan about 200 km; The times vary according to traffic and the motorway section. The port and city access areas are served by dedicated motorway exits and local connecting roads leading to the docks and outdoor parking lots.

🚆 By train
The nearest station is Savona, on the Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line; the line is served by regional trains and long-distance connections that connect the city to Genoa, Ventimiglia and national nodes. Approximate times: from Genoa 50-70 minutes, from Milan 2-2.5 hours, from Turin 1.5-2 hours; from Nice/Ventimiglia the coastal rail connection takes about 2-3 hours. From the station you can reach the main access points to the city and the port on foot or with a short transfer by urban service.

The nearest airport is Genoa Cristoforo Colombo (about 40-50 km), with bus, taxi and car rental connections to the city railway network from which to continue to Savona; other usable airports are Nice Côte d'Azur (about 100 km), Milan Malpensa/Linate and Turin Caselle, all connected by rail or motorway to Genoa or directly to the railway stations from which to leave for Savona; transfer times vary from about 1 hour (Genoa) 2-3 hours (Nice, Milan) depending on the means of transport chosen and connections.
