Let's remember that when we get on board a boat we will be at the disposal of the Captain who is responsible for it, for the safety on board and navigation, so for needs, problems or simply to get to the bow, we always refer to him.

It will not be a "Sailing Week" but a "Sailing Week": this means that the boat is available to everyone, and everyone will have to collaborate for the success of the maneuvers and sailings as well as the order and accommodation on board.

The crew could be made up of friends, or strangers, so for the success of the cruise it will be essential to respect everyone, as if you were a single team! Remember that your freedom ends where someone else's begins. Sailing must be relaxing, so avoid dangerous or stressful situations, especially if we have people on board who are not competent or prepared for the sea.

The planned itinerary describes some rough stages that may vary depending on the weather. Remember that the spirit with which you get on board is to have fun and experience the sea and sailing at 360°, so time and wind will always have the last word.

The common galley, to be prepared on site or with something already purchased in agreement with the crew.

Long-lasting products are ideal, avoid frozen products

Fruit and vegetables are fine, you can make delicious sauces with fresh vegetables, but let's remember not to overdo it as they are quickly perishable foods, so we could take advantage of the ports to stock up!

Water: 2 litres per day per person (remember that if you have a skipper, he is your guest and therefore at your expense, not only for the water) better more than less.

Spirits are not bad! (but the skipper can't drink alcohol! Ex Art. 53-bis. Driving pleasure craft under the influence of alcohol)

Wine or prosecco cannot be missing unless you are all teetotalers.

Once the galley is loaded, it is checked if something is missing and before boarding a person will take the task of procuring it.

On board the boats there is always something basic, someone brings it and then leaves it when disembarking, and someone else uses it.

Kitchen: similar to the one at home, but ask how to use it and where to find accessories!

Tableware: we prefer plastic to be washed at sea (everything on board from plates to cups) rather than disposable, less garbage and a cleaner world.

Let's remember, however, that water on board is precious: if we want to stay at anchor independently, we could save it by washing the dishes with sea water and then drying them thoroughly.

Below deck you don't go with shoes (of any kind), in this way we will have a cleaner boat.

The bathroom: it looks like the one at home but it is not so, absolutely avoid throwing paper or

more in the drain. If it gets clogged it's not nice and we'll lose use of it for a while, so with each use put the paper in the appropriate bin in the bathroom.

Cabin: arrange your belongings in an orderly manner, remember that when sailing the boat heels; If the cabin is shared, respect other people's spaces.

We prefer soft suitcases (trolly or similar to be avoided) so we stow them better once emptied (the spaces on the boat are different from those at home).

Clothing: appropriate for the season, but a windbreaker (if you don't have a waxed one) can be useful, because when sailing, if it rains, we can't stop under a bridge.

A swimsuit is a must-have and a sweatshirt if it's cooler in the evening.

Hat and sunglasses always better to have them in tow, the sun reflects in the water and could annoy you over time, the hat prevents you from getting sunstroke.

Shoes with white or light soles, avoid black or dark soles so as not to mark the blanket, for women unfortunately no heels (on board) rock shoes recommended for swimming on the coast. On a boat, you can stand barefoot, but when maneuvering it is always better to wear shoes because the blanket is full of pitfalls for the poor toes of your foot! Getting hurt on board is not nice and would ruin the cruise.
