This experience, in a nutshell

Lampedusa, Linosa and Lampione are islands that we have known for many years and where we have been sailing since 2004. We appreciate the exciting variety of land and sea landscapes, the spirit and modus vivendi of the inhabitants. The week on a sailing boat is an opportunity for us to share the experience of staying in the Pelagie Islands, in the heart of the Mediterranean, halfway between Europe and Africa, respecting the rhythms of nature and slowing down those of everyday life.

In Lampedusa, a strip of African land, we will drop anchor in a cove where the water has Caribbean hues and transparencies, such as the Tabaccara. On the north side we will stop under imposing cliffs and blue seabeds. Swimming with the mask, we will easily see stingrays, groupers, owlfish, parrots, moray eels, octopuses and many other varieties of fish. We'll also see the Queen's falcons nesting on the cliffs. Even in the middle of the tourist season, we will have the opportunity to spend the sunset and the starry nights in semi-deserted bays.

Not only sea but also walks on land that in the hottest period we propose to do at sunrise.

Aperitifs in crowded places with deafening music and sunset views from souvenir photos are not for us. In Lampedusa we offer an aperitif - included in the fee - at Porto M, which works on the recovery of Sicilian musical and cultural traditions (including the puppet theater) and through a small museum space offers a reflection on the themes of migration. We will meet the Mpidusa Agricultural Association, whose products feed the on-board galley.

If the weather permits, we will go to Lampione, an uninhabited islet with a seabed rich in fish, which can be reached in two hours of navigation.

The route between Lampedusa and Linosa, of about 5 hours, will be an opportunity to participate in navigation and maneuvers, experience the sensation of being on the high seas and if we are lucky to spot dolphins and loggerhead turtles.

In Linosa, a small and unspoiled volcanic island, with a simple walk we will walk to the craters (extinct for 600,000 years) from which to admire the island from above, the green and black cliffs and the blue sea that surrounds you. With the mask we will admire basaltic seabeds, arches and caves. It is also possible – with local boats – to witness a unique spectacle at sunset, the return of thousands of shearwaters to their nests. One evening we will have dinner at the I Germogli association, which supports some health and educational projects in Uganda. The proceeds from the dinner, included in the fee, will go to support the projects

We do the shopping and cook, you will help us tidy up and wash the dishes, but you will not waste precious time in supermarkets and shops... The recipes are based on fresh fish, local products (vegetables, cheese, ricotta) and the specialties of excellent local delicatessens and pastry shops. We will be sensitive to any intolerances and/or allergies, which you will communicate to us before your holiday.

A wonderful experience immersed in nature that skippers Lorenzo and Emanuela were able to make us enjoy from start to finish with extreme availability, managing the itinerary very well, weather permitting, and making us enjoy places far from mass tourism, despite the high season. A week to discover incredible views that only Lampedusa and Linosa are able to offer, enriched by the excellent food that the skippers have prepared, mainly using raw materials and local products. The opportunity we had on the way back from Linosa to get in touch with the aquatic fauna, with the sighting of dolphins and sea turtles, was fantastic. In summary, a wonderful week absolutely recommended especially for those who want a period of complete detachment from the city frenzy!

An experience that will remain in my heart for the harmony that was immediately established with the skippers, always kind and helpful. The food on board was excellent and the management of the spaces was always tolerant of the needs of the guests. Needless to say the beauty of the places and the nature that surrounded us, but I would like to dedicate a point of merit to Lorenzo, who - especially on one occasion (at the "Fili" in Linosa) took us swimming to a splendid hidden cave, which we would never have seen without his guide. Emanuela has also always been super available to meet our needs, a really lovely person. The social slant that the two skippers have given to the holiday is beautiful, taking us to places far from ordinary tourism and introducing us to sometimes touching realities, such as the first aperitif on land. In short, a holiday absolutely recommended!

Wonderful islands, super transparent water, based on the seabed it takes on crazy colors., fantastic company, we found ourselves immediately, spent a nice holiday, had fun and enjoyed everything that the islands offer. The transfer service to and from the airport is convenient. The initiative of the solidarity dinner at Margaret's was beautiful. Too bad we didn't find two skippers on board as indicated, but only Lorenzo, an exceptional person, a good skipper and of great depth, but not very empathetic. The lack of a skipper also weighed on the point of view of the cleanliness of the boat, which was a bit lacking. In addition, there was no possibility of using the tender (a bit battered), Lorenzo was reluctant every time we asked to visit the coves where we could not get very close with the boat. Constantine

It was supposed to be two skippers and in the end there was only Lorenzo who in that week definitely lacked empathy. Excellent cook and I would say good skipper (we had good weather conditions anyway, so I can't say much more). If you want a quiet holiday without music, without revelry and you are a good swimmer (Lorenzo anchors the boat and clearly tells you that to reach the beaches you have to swim...... and who is not a good swimmer... patience..). I recommend it. If you want, as I have always had, a skipper who makes himself available to the crew, despite the little propensity, in various situations (tender, music, and more) look for something different. However, thanks to all the guys I met this week who made this holiday beautiful. Lampedusa and Linosa are two masterpieces of nature!
