This experience, in a nutshell

In the middle of the western Mediterranean, where Corsica and Sardinia chase each other in one of the most seductive stretches of sea in the world, the Maddalena Archipelago emerges in all its beauty.

Located off the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, it consists of seven main islands (Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and Razzoli), numerous islets and smaller rocks.

Covered with typical Mediterranean scrub, all these islands, most of which are uninhabited, are characterised by a succession of coves and beaches with fine sand lapped by a wonderful emerald sea. Another decisive factor in the undisputed charm of this archipelago is undoubtedly the granite nature of its rocks, which have been shaped over thousands of years by the sea and wind.

To protect this environmental heritage, the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park was established in 1996 with the aim of preserving the magnificent marine flora and fauna that characterises it.

During the trip, we will be constantly surrounded by indescribable natural scenery that has enchanted even Napoleon, Nelson and Garibaldi. How can we not mention, for example, Cala Corsara on the island of Spargi, where a fine white beach merges with crystal clear sea, or the Rosa beach on the island of Budelli, which takes its name from the characteristic colour of its sand, caused by the crumbling of the shells of certain marine microorganisms. Finally, Bonifacio is a must for anyone visiting the archipelago. The incredible view at the entrance to the port, accessed through a fjord with white rock walls over 70 metres high, leaves everyone breathless...

Boarding will take place at 6.00 pm. You can immediately store your belongings in the double cabins, all with private bathrooms. We are all in the cockpit for a little refreshment and to get to know each other better.

The captain will take the opportunity to give a briefing, necessary to explain to everyone the rules of life on board, to provide you with some information on the management of the boat and the week's itinerary.

Free evening in Cannigione.

Leg 2

Sunday - Caprera

Early in the

morning we will leave the moorings from the port of Cannigione for a sail to the island of Caprera or Budelli. We will drop anchor at Cala Coticcio or in front of the Pink Beach, enchanting places where we will finally take the first swim of the week.

After a nice lunch and after enjoying the quiet of the sea and the place, we will sail again to the island of La Maddalena where we will spend the night in one of its bays, protected from the sea and the wind.

Leg 3

Monday - Cavallo Island

After a relaxing breakfast, we will embark on a short sail through the infamous Strait of Bonifacio towards Corsica, to head towards the island of Cavallo where we will be able to take unforgettable baths in a unique natural setting.

In the afternoon we will sail to Rondinara or Santa Amanza (Southern Corsica) and spend the night there a few tens of meters from the beach.

Leg 4

Tuesday - Lavezzi

In the morning we will enjoy this paradise on earth for a few more hours with inevitable baths and a quiet lunch on board. In the early afternoon, we'll take advantage of the tender for a shore excursion to this island, which is part of the protected natural park of the Strait of Bonifacio.

In the afternoon we will sail to Bonifacio. The harbor fjord, with its cliffs more than 70 meters high, is an unmissable stop on this cruise. The view is breathtaking.

The city will amaze you with its small characteristic alleys that suddenly open onto the Strait of Bonifacio.

On the coast there are small, very quiet beaches such as Piccolo Sperone, Palombaggia and Santa Giulia.

We will spend the night in the port of Bonifacio.

Leg 5

Wednesday - Strait of Bonifacio

In the morning we will leave Bonifacio behind and sail through the Straits. We will return to Lavezzi for a swim in another of its enchanting bays. If the weather permits, in the afternoon we will move to the beach of Piantarella on the Piana island to spend the night.

Maddalena Archipelago, southern Corsica: wonderful Sardinia

Great tour between Sardinia and Corsica, spectacular islands and islets, beautiful crystal clear blue sea, sailing between wind and sun, sunsets, evenings and nights who forgets them anymore! And then an excellent crew, really pleasant travel companions, relaxing climate and atmosphere. Professional, correct, kind and nice skipper and help. It was all very exciting! The only star I don't give to the boat is that I would have liked (as I do at home... since I felt at home) keep it cleaner and vacuum it which unfortunately had failed! It's a bit of a fixation of mine. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Wonderful experience, trust the maximum skipper who will take you to exclusive beaches of Corsica (weather permitting) and don't worry if it does not perfectly reflect the stops set on the site. Martina super chef on board who will make you excellent fish dishes and stay relaxed to enjoy your holiday. Top boat. Remember, as the captain says, that it is the group that creates the holiday, so try to establish group harmony immediately.

During our boat holiday experience in Sardinia, expectations were unfortunately disappointed in several respects. The skipper has shown little attention to the well-being and serenity of the guests, assuming attitudes that are not always professional. The quality of the meals offered on board was also not in line with the price paid, lacking variety and care. Customer service, both during the organization phase and during the stay, did not guarantee the necessary support to deal with any needs or requests. In addition, it was noticed that the skipper, in the evening hours, used alcohol and showed inappropriate behavior, leaving the impression of a superficial management and little attention to overall safety. An experience that, in light of what has been experienced, does not reflect what was promised or meet the standards that one would expect from a service of this level.

Massimo and Martina made us sail between Sardinia and Corsica showing us small corners of paradise, fabulous landscapes, crystal clear waters and wild beaches. They shared with the whole crew not only the places described in the program, but also some less famous gems. Trust them and their experience for the route, they know what they are doing and where to take you to leave you speechless. He was a skilled skipper, he took the boat several times with the wind, having fun and entertaining us, transmitting his passion to us. She pampered us with her delicacies at lunch and dinner and spoiled us with appetizing aperitifs throughout the week (surprise aperitif on the beach... wonderful!). Two easy-going guys, who slowly loosened up and were company with us, they were able to play the game and laugh with us at our crazy things. The boat clean, well maintained, you don't step on your toes. Comfortable cabin. A round of applause also to all the crew who made the holiday even more beautiful and fun. If I may allow myself a single suggestion, it would be useful to receive a pre-departure message with basic useful information, so as not to have to answer perhaps a thousand times the same questions that we surely all ask you. For the rest, what can I say... A holiday that I would do again and that I will always carry in my heart! Highly recommended!
