This experience, in a nutshell

Imagine living a unique adventure, sailing among the islands of the mythological Aeolus, the undisputed God of the winds, in an archipelago that seems to come out of a fairy tale. The Aeolian Islands await you with their ancestral fascinations, between two still active volcanoes that will leave you breathless: Stromboli, the lava giant that enchants with the primordial force of its nocturnal eruptions, and Vulcano, home of the god of Fire, where the earth still seems to throb with energy.

You will sail between islands with breathtaking landscapes, crystal clear waters and ancient maritime traditions. You will climb the crater of Vulcano, explore the black beaches of Stromboli, and lose yourself in the magic of starry nights, with the sea surrounding you and the roar of the volcano in the distance.

A journey to discover wild nature, history and legend. Ready to be enchanted by the Aeolian Islands?

Leg 1

Saturday CAPO D'ORLANDO/VULCANO

Arrival at the Base and meeting with your crew from 15:30 to 16:00 for briefing and galley organization. Boarding from 17:30/18:00 and accommodation on board. Weather and your needs permitting, we will try to set sail immediately, if all operations are carried out in time, towards the first of the Aeolian Islands: Vulcano. Arrived after 3 hours south of Vulcano in the bay of Gelsi or in the port of Levante of the island. Depending on your arrival time you can have dinner in Vulcano or a simple walk on the beach.

Leg 2

Sunday VULCANO/ FILICUDI

Breakfast and morning dedicated to the discovery of Vulcano, swimming in the sulphurous springs or walking in Vulcanello. As soon as we get back on board, we set sail for the farthest and most poetic of the Aeolian Islands, Filicudi. At Capo Graziano we will choose a bay for a dip, (Grotta del bue Marino and the Canna), relax and snorkel before moving to Porto Pecorini to have dinner on land with the lady and spend the night under a blanket of stars in the roadstead.

Leg 3

Monday FILICUDI/SALINA

Wake up and, after a dip, here we are sailing towards the famous bay of Pollara in Salina, a small hamlet where Massimo Troisi's "The Postman" was filmed. Before sunset here we are in Santa Maria, in the beautiful harbor in front of the Marina di Salina, the Port of the Aeolian Islands. We will be ready to moor and so for a walk through its characteristic center for an aperitif, in fact Salina as well as for its wines is famous for its Malvasia. Alternatively to the port, if the weather conditions allow it, it can also be at anchor in front of the port of Santa Marina di Salina and in this case you will go ashore with the tender.

Leg 4

Tuesday SALINA/STROMBOLI

A rich breakfast in Lingua, for the famous Granita da Alfredo and then head to Stromboli with its fire magic. Swimming in Basiluzzo or Lisca Bianca (satellite islets of Panarea where we stop for lunch). Arrival in the late afternoon in Stromboli to admire the eruptions from the sea and then on land after a quick dinner on board we go ashore to explore the island of geckos.

Leg 5

Wednesday STROMBOLI/PANAREA

For those who want breakfast on land with granita and brioche and ready to set sail for Strombolicchio for a bath in cobalt blue. Afterwards we proceed to Panarea. Swim and relax between Calajunco, a beautiful turquoise green natural pool, the Lisca Bianca islet, with the famous Lovers' cave and Lisca Nera. Late afternoon here we are at anchor in the spectacular Milazzo bay, ready to go ashore and discover the shops of Panarea with beautiful bars and its typical aperitifs.

Leg 6

Thursday PANAREA/ LIPARI

Breakfast on board and walk on the beach in Baia Milazzese and then as soon as we get back on the boat we are sailing southwards, towards Lipari with a relaxing break and lunch in the magnificent "White Beach", or the pumice quarries. Only in the late afternoon will we sit in the roadstead under the Monastery and go ashore to visit the town of Lipari. Night under the stars in the roadstead

Leg 7

Friday LIPARI/ VULCANO/BASE

Breakfast and ready to set sail towards the nearby Baia dei Faraglioni di Lipari for a swim and relaxation stop and then have lunch in Vulcano, in one of its picturesque coves between Punta Gelso and the Grotta del Cavallo. Here we will admire a very varied coastline rich in the reddish colors typical of the island. Before returning to Capo D'Orlando, if time permits, we will have time to take a swim at the Vinci beach, suggestive and epic with its fumaroles. Then we will sail to the atmospheric Yachting Club by 18:00 for refuel and then to moor. After a regenerating shower in the marina's bathrooms, we'll spend the last evening celebrating together and staying overnight on board.

A beautiful week between beautiful places and a fabulous crew. The skipper Luca, a great connoisseur of the place, took us to beautiful places, both at sea and on land, as well as managing the crew well. Also commendable of recognition was Salvatore, second skipper. Very nice Marianna who came to greet us but who due to personal problems could not be one of us. I highly recommend it to those who still have some doubts.
