This experience, in a nutshell

I am waiting for you to experience a magical weekend together, participating in the events of one of the most famous regattas in the world: the BARCOLANA!

The Barcolana weekend in Trieste is an extraordinary experience, full of emotions and adrenaline. We will participate directly in the Regatta!

(race registration fee included)

On the morning of the first day, the port is pervaded by turmoil as we and the other crews prepare for the challenge. The boats are set up and the last details are carefully arranged, while the air is impregnated with excitement and tension.

The sound of trumpets and the sound of waves crashing on the hulls create an electrifying atmosphere that permeates the entire harbor.

We will cross the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic, fighting against the wind and currents... A fascinating experience that will leave you breathless.

Meanwhile, along the shores of the port, the atmosphere is festive and animated. Stalls offer local food and seafood souvenirs, while marching bands and street performers entertain the public. In the evening we will be able to go ashore to walk among the people, enjoying culinary specialties and enjoying the lively festive atmosphere that pervades the city.

Our itinerary

We will depart from the Port of Santa Margherita in Caorle and an undemanding navigation we will reach the Gulf of Trieste, where the Barcolana, a charming port city located on the northeastern tip of Italy, on the border with Slovenia, takes place. Trieste is renowned for its architectural beauty, rich history, and vibrant maritime culture. The heart of the event is the Port of Trieste, which comes alive with boats and people from all over the world during the weekend of the regatta. The Port offers spectacular scenery, with its sparkling blue waters, piers silhouetted against the sky, and historic buildings overlooking the sea.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Beautiful holiday in Kornati, wonderful places and sea. Perfect route and routes with optimal timing. Skipper Davide very prepared and patient. Very nice and well-knit crew. The boat would have elements to improve (install mini cabin fans, because there was no air). Aft cabins a bit cramped for two people. The presence of three bathrooms is convenient.
