Portorosa is located on the northeastern coast of Sicily, in Furnari, in the province of Messina, and is well connected by various means of transport.

• By plane: The nearest airports are Catania Fontanarossa Airport (about 150 km away) and Palermo Punta Raisi Airport (about 200 km away). From Catania, you can take a direct bus to Messina or rent a car and take the A18 motorway to Milazzo, then continue towards Furnari.
• By train: You can get to Milazzo station, about 15 km from Portorosa, well connected with the main Sicilian cities. From Milazzo it is then possible to take a taxi or a bus.
• By car: Driving along the A20 Messina-Palermo motorway, exit at Falcone. From there, follow the signs to the marina of Portorosa (Furnari).
• By boat: Those arriving from southern Italy can consider the ferries to Messina (from Villa San Giovanni or Salerno), and then continue by car or bus to Portorosa.

Yes, parking spaces are available in Portorosa for those arriving by car. The marina offers several parking options, both outdoor and covered, with short or long-term parking solutions, ideal for those participating in multi-day excursions. Some seats are guarded, making them a convenient and safe option to leave your vehicle during the sailing period. It is recommended to check availability in advance or book, especially during holidays and high season.

Traveling by boat is equivalent to traveling light! 

A backpack or soft duffel bag, like the ones you use in the gym, which can be folded and placed in the lockers of the cabin, is fine. It is not possible, however, to get on board with rigid suitcases or trolleys: in addition to taking up a lot of space, if they crash they could ruin the boat or hurt you.
