Rosignano Marittimo is served by the A12 motorway (Genoa-Livorno): take the Rosignano exit and continue towards the municipal center following the local provincial roads; along the coast there is also the SS1 Aurelia that connects the coastal centers; from Florence the most direct route is the FI-PI-LI (Florence-Pisa-Livorno) with subsequent junction on the SS1 or on the A12 in the direction of Rosignano; indicate the municipality or hamlet of destination for urban stretches and for identify public parking lots and rest areas.

Reference station: Rosignano Solvay, on the Pisa-Livorno-Grosseto railway line, with Trenitalia regional services; approximate travel times by region: from Pisa Centrale about 25-30 minutes, from Livorno Centrale about 15-20 minutes; from Florence SMN with a change in Pisa or Empoli about 1h30-1h50, from Rome with one or more changes about 3h-3h30 depending on the connections; from the station there are local bus connections and taxi services available to reach the different hamlets of the municipality.

The nearest airports are Pisa Galileo Galilei (PSA), about 25-35 km away, and Florence Amerigo Vespucci (FLR), about 80-100 km away; from Pisa airport the transfer can be made by train to Pisa Centrale and then regional to Rosignano or by taxi/car rental by road (road times estimated at around 30-40 minutes), from Florence the connection is via FI-PI-LI and SS1/A12 by road or by train to Pisa and then regional; Both airports offer taxi, bus and car rental services for the transfer to the municipality.

If all cabins are occupied by guests, the skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in the dinette.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a bunk cabin with another traveler (not necessarily of the same gender). Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

Yes, it is possible to reserve a single cabin, but in this case the price is equal to that of two shares.

The provisions will be purchased by the participants immediately after boarding.

Meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience, unless the optional “Hostess/Cook on board” service is available and has been chosen.

Travelling light is recommended: especially in summer, when you will almost exclusively be wearing swimwear, T-shirts, and shorts on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the height of summer, while something warmer is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of bad weather or when sailing. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, flip-flops/sandals for going ashore; if you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful when sailing - they must have white soles and be used only on the boat. It may also be useful to bring a small waterproof container for your wallet/cell phone to use when going ashore. For bed linen and towels, please refer to the “What's included” section.

Hair dryers, hair straighteners, and other appliances that operate on 220V (household voltage) can only be used during stops in ports, when a power outlet is available for connection to the electrical grid.

A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

Absolutely! This experience is ideal for groups with children/teenagers.

If you reserve the entire boat for yourself, the detailed itinerary can be agreed upon with the skipper. Otherwise, changes can be agreed upon as long as all participants on board agree.

We will spend the night moored in a bay or in port, where we will be able to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
