From Olbia or Golfo Aranci continue on provincial roads and on the SS125 towards Arzachena / Cannigione; the distance from Olbia airport / port is about 30-35 km with approximate travel times 30-40 minutes, from Golfo Aranci about 25-30 km with similar times; from Porto Cervo and Costa Smeralda the connections are made through provincial networks with reduced distances. From Alghero the distance is approximately 130-140 km (about 2 hours), from Cagliari about 260-270 km (about 3-3.5 hours) following the main roads towards Olbia and continuing along the SS125; Parking and access to the town are located on municipal roads near the coast.

There are no direct train connections from the peninsula to Cannigione; the reference stations to reach the ports of embarkation are Genoa (Genoa Piazza Principe/Brignole), Livorno Centrale and Civitavecchia, from which ferries depart for Sardinia; approximate times by rail: Milan-Genoa 1h40-2h30, Florence-Livorno 20-40 min, Rome Termini-Civitavecchia 45-70 min. On Sardinia the useful station is Olbia: from Olbia station the road transfer to Cannigione is about 30-35 km, with connections by local bus, taxi or rental car and approximate times 30-40 minutes.

The nearest airport is Olbia Costa Smeralda (OLB), about 25-35 km from Cannigione; the transfer can be done by taxi, car rental or regional buses, approximate times 30-40 minutes. Other useful airports are Alghero-Fertilia (AHO), about 130-140 km away (about 2 hours by car), and Cagliari Elmas (CAG), about 260-270 km away (about 3-3.5 hours). Olbia is served by domestic and seasonal flights from the main Italian and European airports; from the airport terminal continue by road towards Cannigione with the means indicated above.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

The purchase of the galley will be made by the participants on the day of embarkation. If present, we can also organize ourselves before the boarding time.

Meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience, unless the optional “Hostess/Cook on board” service is available and has been chosen.

It is advisable to travel light: especially in summer, bathing suits, T-shirts and shorts are almost exclusively used on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the middle of summer, something heavier is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of disrupted weather or while sailing. Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, slippers/flip-flops to go ashore; If you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful in sailing maneuvers - they must have a white sole and be used only for the boat. It can also be useful to have a small watertight container for your wallet/mobile phone with you, to use when you go ashore. A water bottle for personal drinking water is very useful, to use fewer glasses. For bed linen and towels, please refer to the "What's included" section.

Hair dryers, hair straighteners, and other appliances that operate on 220V (household voltage) can only be used during stops in ports, when a power outlet is available for connection to the electrical grid.

A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

Yes, but outside the boat and downwind, and always with full respect for the other participants. Under no circumstances is it permitted to throw cigarette butts into the sea.

The boat is equipped with both 12V sockets (with USB and/or cigarette lighter connectors) that can normally be used at any time, and 220V sockets that can only be used when docked in ports, once connected to the charging stations on the quay.

Usually, we moor in a bay at night, with the possibility of going ashore using the dinghy. However, we will stop in port, as planned in the itinerary, to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as to enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
