On the boat you can get on without shoes and/or slippers that will be removed before boarding and with the precaution not to bring sand that could spill on the boat. Only once on board will you be able to wear special boat shoes and/or shoes with a clean white rubber sole.

 As a rule, you bring little luggage, just the bare minimum since the space on board is usually limited. A bag, preferably made of soft canvas, will do just fine.

Making oneself useful to the normal activities of government is desirable as long as one knows how to move. When in doubt, it's better to ask those who have more experience. Ditto for cooking and preparing lunch/dinner. The route will be established before departure, so you cannot ask to change it on the way or expect to get even short stops if not planned in advance.

It is a good idea to pay attention to the consumption of water and electricity. Bearing in mind that you are not at home, it is best to consult in order to optimize consumption while respecting everyone.

If you start to have symptoms, say it right away: you will be helped more effectively.

Beware of using sunscreen that could stain or grease the furniture on board. Avoid sitting on cushions with your swimsuit wet. Caution when using the toilet.

A sober, simple and appropriate clothing, which cannot make the other members of the crew uncomfortable, will be appreciated and will facilitate you in feeling in harmony.

It is good to move on the boat respecting the safety rules so as not to jeopardize your safety and the serenity of the trip.
