This experience, in a nutshell

We will spend an unforgettable holiday sailing between the beautiful Pontine Islands and the Phlegraean Islands

These islands have an absolutely unique charm and nature.

The Pontine archipelago is divided into 2 distinct groups of islands not too far from each other: The first, located in the northwest, includes the islands of Ponza, Palmarola, Gavi and Zannone, the latter island is part of the Circeo National Park; the second group is located in a south-easterly direction with Palmarola and Ventotene. Then we will move sailing towards the Gulf of Naples, until we arrive in Ischia and Procida.

A skippered sailing cruise to the Pontine and Phlegraean Islands can be an exciting and relaxing experience. Here's what you might expect from this experience:

Sailing: You can actively participate in sailing if you wish, learning the basics from your guide, or simply enjoy the views while the crew operates the boat.

Island Exploration: Each island has its own unique charm. Ponza, for example, is famous for its sea caves, while Palmarola is appreciated for its crystal clear waters and unspoiled nature.

Snorkeling and diving: Excellent opportunities for snorkeling and diving. You could explore the seabed rich in life.

Local food: During your cruise, you will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious local dishes. Many of the islands have restaurants and taverns offering specialties based on fresh fish and other local products.

Relaxed atmosphere: Sailing cruises tend to offer a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere than cruises on larger ships.

In general, a sailing cruise to the Pontine Islands offers the opportunity to explore enchanting places in a more intimate and flexible way than traditional cruises.

Our itinerary

After boarding in Nettuno in the late afternoon, we settle on board, organize the galley and hold a short briefing dedicated to safety and life on the boat. Depending on the time of day and weather and sea conditions, it will be possible to leave in the evening for a first sailing with dinner on board, or spend the night in port and set sail the following morning. The route will take you to some of the pearls of the Tyrrhenian Sea: Palmarola, considered one of the most fascinating islands in the Mediterranean, with its crystal clear waters and caves to explore, and Ventotene, where you can moor in the scenic Roman port and stroll through the characteristic streets of the center. There will be no shortage of swimming stops in the most evocative coves and moments of relaxation.

Continuing the itinerary, you will reach Ponza and its iconic bays, ideal for spending several days bathing, sun and spectacular views, with shore excursions to discover the lively village. The navigation can also extend to Ischia and Procida, two islands rich in charm and tradition, perfect for alternating nature, sea and authentic atmospheres, up to including, if conditions permit, even a stop in Ventotene along the way. Before returning, there will be a stop in Zannone, a wild and unspoiled island, ideal for a last swim in a unique natural setting. The return to Nettuno will take place in the afternoon/evening, with a farewell dinner on board and disembarkation scheduled for the next morning.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Antonio (and Stefania.. because behind.. indeed.. WITH. .a great man there is also a great woman!!:)) is a very prepared, prudent, serious, but at the same time welcoming and caring skipper. The [hidden] II is very spacious and has everything, the beautiful Pontine and still not for mass tourism (perhaps also thanks to the period). Maybe by chance, maybe not, the whole crew was perfectly balanced and the presence of children / teenagers was a further strength. What do you eat... and laughter!!!!

The experience with Sailsquare and with the Skipper Antonio was really nice, Giulia's assistance in completing the purchase was decisive, Antonio led us to discover secret corners of the Pontine area, showing absolute mastery of the seabed and coves of the Pontine Islands, surprising even those of us who knew the archipelago well, anchoring and sailing always in the name of maximum safety and comfort allowed, sometimes he cooked for us and turned out to be excellent and discreet company, his consolidated relationships in the docks allowed us to always have open doors, for a safe mooring when the weather required it and a privileged entrance in the Roman port of Ventotene, the islet is a real pearl of history and circumscribed beauty, finally my fellow adventurers a beautiful heterogeneous crew, a real crew devoted to joy where everyone has brought soul to the spirit of the group, compact from start to finish, Thank you you are Beautiful
