Sanremo can be reached mainly along the A10/E80 motorway (Autostrada dei Fiori), exit "Sanremo""; the A10 connects the city to Genoa to the east and to Ventimiglia to the west; alternative coastal routes follow the SS1 (via Aurelia). Approximate distances and times: Milan — about 280 km, travel time around 3 hours via A7 and A10; Genoa — about 140 km, 1 h 30-1 h 45 via A10; Turin — about 200 km, 2 h 15-2 h 30 via A6 and A10; Nice (F) — approx. 55 km, 50-70 minutes via A8/A10 or SS1. The Sanremo motorway exit serves access to the city and local roads.

The reference station is Sanremo Station on the Genoa-Ventimiglia line (Tyrrhenian line), served by regional trains and some long-distance connections; main connections and indicative times: Genoa (Piazza Principe/Brignole) — 1 h 30-1 h 50; Milan Central Station — about 2 h 40-3 h, with direct trains or with variations; Ventimiglia — 20-30 minutes; Nice (Nice-Ville) — cross-border regional connections with times around 50-70 minutes. Trenitalia regional services and cross-border routes operated by French operators operate for the Nice-Ventimiglia section.

✈️ By plane
The most useful airports are Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE), about 45-60 minutes drive from Sanremo, and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo (GOA), about 1 h 40-2 h by car; other minor airports used at regional level are Cuneo Levaldigi (CUF) to the north-west. From the Nice terminal you can continue to Sanremo by car/taxi (about 50 minutes) or by train from Nice-Ville station with tram/bus transfer from the airport; from Genoa you can reach the city station and continue by train to Sanremo with approximate times of 1 h 30-1 h 50. Transfer options include regular buses, taxis, private transfers, and car rentals.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.
