This experience, in a nutshell

We embark on Friday morning to settle into the cabins and set sail immediately to enjoy our weekend.

In addition to visiting Castellammare del Golfo, we will stop at the magical stacks of the Scopello tuna fishery and explore all the coves of the huge Zingaro nature reserve continuing to the anchorage or the port of San Vito lo Capo.

The skipper is a federal sailing instructor and, if interested, it will be possible to learn the art of sailing and experience firsthand, safely even if inexperienced, the thrill of steering or being part of the crew.

Leg 1

Scopello

We embark on Friday morning to settle in the cabins and set sail for the stacks of the historic tuna fishery of Scopello, with the small and colorful buildings immersed in the cliffs of the nature reserve.

We will spend the night for a magical awakening and breakfast with cinematic and breathtaking backdrops.

Leg 2

Zingaro Reserve

With many hesitation, we will leave the anchorage to explore the many coves of the Zingaro nature reserve, immersed in the uninhabited coast and cradle of many different animals and birds.

After swimming, paddling and walking in the most beautiful coves, continuing westwards we will land, at the end of the reserve, at the large bay of San Vito lo Capo, where it will be possible to spend the evening tasting local foods such as the famous CousCous, Caldofreddo ice cream and local wines and for the most curious participate in the nightlife of the city.

Leg 3

Castellammare

After breakfast we will continue the exploration by sail or relax in the most beautiful coves, choosing one for lunch at anchor. We will disembark in the afternoon to visit the port of Castellammare, a place rich in history and once again in..... Yummy food.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Sailing to discover the Egadi Islands

Fantastic week, ema and Irene are experienced, competent, kind and super nice. They welcome you as if you were at home. They know the sea and sudden changes and this made me feel very safe: how can a storm come if the sky is completely starry and the sea is a table?!? And instead, just as they had predicted, it was better not to leave😅 ready to advise alternatives and support in activities if you cannot navigate, kind mediators in the dynamics of unknown people. Their route, outside the classic Egadi tour, allowed us to see dolphins, turtles, the coast of Scopello, the zingaro reserve and San Vito. With the "good" wind on the way back we also did a wonderful 3-hour🥰🥰🥰 sail Thank you thank you Ema and Ire... fair winds and I hope our routes will re-meet soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was my first experience on a sailing boat and I couldn't ask for anything better! Emanuele is a very prepared skipper, and together with Irene they made the experience even more pleasant with their experience and care, they adapted the itinerary to the weather conditions and the needs of the crew, always making us part of every choice and change. The Egadi islands are beautiful and have been made even more beautiful by this experience!

This is one of those reviews that you would never want to write.... A review that, however, I am forced to write in spite of myself. To be honest. And the reason is only one, it is the desire, after discovering a precious thing, to keep it all for oneself, not to want to share it with anyone. Because it will reveal two wonderful people who cheered up our holiday that could not have been more beautiful than how they made us experience it. Emanuele and Irene hosted our colorful group (4 adults, two girls and a boy) aboard Crazy Horse, with extreme empathy and availability. Our experience was short -2 nights and 3 days- but rich, especially from a human point of view. On board we settled comfortably in the 3 cabins available and with the help of Irene the management of the galley was simple and punctual. Emanuele proved to be very professional and prepared in driving the sailboat and answering our countless curiosities. Irene and Emanuele are wonderful people, having had the pleasure of meeting them is a magnificent gift. And then they are nice and intelligent and are able to entertain their guests with all the kindness and courtesy typical of Sicilians, but always careful not to be intrusive and inappropriate. If you love Sicily and its sea, you cannot ignore sailing on [hidden] with Emanuele and Irene, who will take you where dreams sometimes come true.
