This experience, in a nutshell

"Discover a nature island.

Sark, the last feudal state in Europe, with unspoilt nature, a pure change of scenery a few miles from the French coast. The discovery of Sark requires a good physical condition and a love of walking.

The bravest can explore the island on foot or by bike by crossing the Coupée which connects Gran Sark to Klein Sark, but you can also try out the local means of transport, horse-drawn carriage and char-à-banc, as the car is forbidden on the island.

The island is steep but hiking trails allow you to reach the capital and the hamlets with their timeless charm. You can also visit the gardens and rose garden of the Seigneurie, the residence of the lord of the island. Meal and night on board the sailboat, at anchor.

Disembarkation in the dinghy. Program subject to change, depending on weather conditions."

A week of sailing practice from Cherbourg

I give the max rating: 5 points! A very friendly skipper, always ready to provide explanations and advice, and in an eternal good mood despite the mistakes of his sailors mouthed, and good cook with that (which does not prevent to give a hand)! A powerful boat (the Dufour 50) and very well equipped, which changes smaller formats to which I was accustomed (35 feet max for my part). In addition, the boat is an example whose wooden interior layout is very warm. Finally, the English Channel is a demanding sea that allows you to appreciate all facets of navigation, winds, tides, currents. The environment is complex and exciting. I therefore recommend without reservation both to those who want a relaxed walk, and to those who wish to (re-)discover the pleasures of the nav.

Rating 5 / 5: Excellent week spent in the company of Thierry. Quality sailing in complete safety in beautiful places, despite the sometimes variable weather conditions in this region of Normandy. The passage of the Raz Blanchard will remain a magical memory for me. Thierry is a very experienced skipper who is very kind. He has been able to adapt to his crew. Stay highly recommended!

A week of sailing practice from Cherbourg

We spent 6 days on Thierry's boat, unfortunately it had little wind. So we stayed 4 days in total in Cherbourg and spent a night in St Vasst. We still had the chance to see dolphins! However, the wind blocked us in Cherbourg. Thierry is a loner who wants to share his passion. I had a good stay with a very good crew. I wish you, if you want to go on a cruise, to have wind.

We had a great time with Thierry on his boat. Thierry is a seasoned sailing professional and does not hesitate to share his passion safely whatever the level of the teammates. Good wind and good sea in Thierry
