From the mainland you can reach the ports of embarkation for Sardinia via the motorway: Livorno, Civitavecchia and Genoa are the main departure points for ferries to the north-eastern coast of the island; ferry durations vary depending on the route and operator. Once disembarked in Golfo Aranci or Olbia, the town can be reached by car following the exits towards the north-eastern coast; the transfer from Olbia to the center of Golfo Aranci takes about 20-30 minutes in normal traffic conditions. On the Sardinian road network, the connection with the province and the main cities takes place through the arteries that connect Olbia and the east coast.

🚆 By train
On the mainland, the stations that allow access to the ports of embarkation are, among others, Livorno Centrale, Civitavecchia and Genoa, connected with the main national railway nodes (Rome, Florence, Milan) by Intercity and regional; From these stations you can continue by car or local services to the ferry terminals. In Sardinia the reference station is Olbia: regional trains connect Olbia with some internal lines of the island and the station is connected with bus routes and taxi services that take you to Golfo Aranci in about 20-30 minutes. From Sardinian cities such as Sassari the train journey to Olbia can take around 1.5-2 hours; from Cagliari the train connections require changes and longer times.

✈️ By plane
The nearest airport is Olbia Costa Smeralda (OLB), about 25-35 km from Golfo Aranci; the transfer from the airport can be done by rental car, taxi and regional bus services or direct shuttles to Olbia and continue to Golfo Aranci in 25-35 minutes by road. Olbia is served by domestic flights and seasonal and year-round connections with various European carriers (including low-cost airlines and domestic networks), with frequent connections during the busiest periods; alternatively, the airports of Alghero and Cagliari offer national and international connections with longer road transfers to the north-eastern coast.

⛴️ By ferry/hydrofoil
Golfo Aranci has a passenger port with maritime connections from several ports on the continent; the main departures are from Civitavecchia, Livorno and, in some periods, Genoa; the companies operating the seasonal and winter routes include operators such as Moby, Tirrenia/Grandi Navi Veloci and Grimaldi, with journeys ranging approximately from 6-8 hours from Civitavecchia or Livorno to over 10 hours from Genoa, depending on the service and the stopover; on arrival the port of Golfo Aranci is directly connected to the urban center a short distance by road.

The skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in one of the boat's cabins.

The purchase of the galley will be made together by the skipper/hostess and the participants in the experience. When purchasing the holiday you will be contacted by the skipper with a menu proposal for the duration of the holiday.

The crew is responsible for preparing meals consumed on board.

It is advisable to travel light: especially in summer, bathing suits, T-shirts and shorts are almost exclusively used on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long trousers for the evening may be sufficient in the middle of summer, a waterproof windbreaker in case of unsettled weather or while sailing. Something heavier, on the other hand, is preferable in the cooler months. Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, slippers/flip-flops to go ashore; IF you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful in sailing maneuvers - they must have a white sole and be used only for the boat. It can also be useful to have light and quick-drying microfiber towels with you (we always recommend one for saltwater/beach and one for freshwater). A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

In case you reserve the whole boat for yourself, the detailed itinerary can be agreed with the skipper. Otherwise, changes can be agreed upon as long as all the participants on board agree. The climate will be the decisive factor that will determine the variations

Yes, but outside the boat and downwind, and always with full respect for the other participants. Under no circumstances is it permitted to throw cigarette butts into the sea.

In the narca there are USB sockets, clams, recharging at 12 times that can be used during the day when the sun is something else, in order to make the most of the energy provided by the solar panels

At night we stop at anchor in a roadstead, there are no stops in ports but they can be scheduled. I
