On board the same boat, we bring together a crew made up of people with different experiences of the sea and the operation of a sailboat. As a result, the exchange and sharing of skills becomes essential, as much for the performance of manoeuvres, the various tasks of crew as in the daily life on board.

The aim of these courses is to introduce or deepen their knowledge of coastal navigation (i.e. sailing at a visual distance from the coast) and the essential gestures of sailors. To discover nautical charts, to learn how to choose a good shelter protected from the wind and the sea, to know how to anchor, hoist the sails and maneuver the boat according to the wind to reach the destination.

On the program of this course the discovery of an archipelago off the beaten track. Marettimo, Levanzo and Favignana, on the extreme western tip of Sicily, these 3 islands look on one side at the Tyrrhenian Sea, on the other Tunisia. An archipelago open to the 4 winds, where the Scirocco and the Mistral blow masterfully. Discreet and still little colonized by mass tourism, they retain a very authentic charm, inhabited for centuries by bluefin tuna fishermen.
