Our itinerary

This cruise can have two different itineraries that we will decide according to the weather at that moment.

1 Direction Villasimius, Punta Molentis, up to the east coast of Sardinia passing through real pearls such as the beaches of Mare Pintau and Genne and seas we will have to spend a week without getting bored but with more relaxation as the distances are shorter.

2 Direction Carloforte, Tueredda, Capo Spartivento, Porto Pino where to admire these wonders.

We must be willing to endure more hours at sea because the distances are much greater.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

🚗 By car
From the mainland, take the motorways towards the main ports of embarkation (Civitavecchia, Genoa, Livorno, Naples) and embark the vehicle on the ferries; some ships dock directly at the port of Cagliari, otherwise you disembark in northern ports of the island (Olbia, Porto Torres, Golfo Aranci) and continue by car via SS131 towards Cagliari; driving times on the island: Olbia-Cagliari about 3 hours, Porto Torres-Cagliari about 2 hours and 30 minutes, transfers from the city port zero if the ship enters Cagliari directly.

🚆 By train
There is no direct rail connection between the continent and Sardinia; for embarkation, use the port stations of reference: Civitavecchia (connections from Rome Termini in about 45-60 minutes), Genoa (connections from Milan in about 1 hour 30-2 hours), Livorno (connections from Pisa / Florence in 20-60 minutes) and Naples (connections from Naples Centrale); from the port transfer on foot, taxi or shuttle to the ferry docks; once on the island, the reference station is Cagliari, served by regional convoys for the internal lines and with a railway connection to the Elmas/Airport station.

✈️ By plane
Cagliari-Elmas Airport (CAG) about 7 km from the city center, connected by regional train, urban/suburban bus lines, taxis and car rental services; transfer time between the airport and the city center 10-20 minutes by car depending on traffic; direct flights connect Cagliari with Italian cities and with some international airports through national and low-cost carriers; Services and frequencies vary seasonally.

⛴️ By ferry/hydrofoil
Maritime routes from Civitavecchia, Genoa, Livorno and Naples with departures to Cagliari or northern ports of the island; the duration of the crossings varies according to the route and type of ship, with night routes to the port of Cagliari that can take between 12 and 20 hours and shorter connections to Olbia / Golfo Aranci / Porto Torres; Schedules, types of boarding (passenger and vehicle) and operating companies are subject to seasonal variations.

I am sorry to have to point out the serious shortcomings of the skipper in making the crew find a boat in order and safely to face such a long journey. No sail of respect, the bow old and worn, serious leaks of diesel in the bilge resulting in unbearable smell under deck, we finished the gas a week before arrival ... These are just some of the serious shortcomings of the skipper.----------------------SPOWER OF THE SKIPPER----------------------Caro Federico, I read your review and report the following. I did 7 Atlantic crossings, one of which was completely solo: I don't think I have to take sailing lessons. I can't hide from you that the relationships were difficult with the whole crew. What you call "old and worn sail" brought you all a day early to Martinique, so I do not consider your criticisms valid because with the facts I have shown something else. Unfortunately, contrary to what you told me, none of the crew was actually able to stay at the helm and in the only half hour in which the autopilot did not work there were several moments of difficulty. You boarded believing you were taking a regular sailing cruise and not an Atlantic crossing of over 20 days in the middle of the ocean. I can't even forget your behavior when after being sick in the bathroom you didn't bother to clean in the slightest and left the task to me. The only thing I would like to give you, in part, reason for concerns the loss of diesel, caused by a job done badly by the mechanic and then solved.
