This experience, in a nutshell

We will sail between the coast of Sicily, the Zingaro Reserve, San Vito Lo Capo and the incredible Egadi Islands .

Levanzo and Marettimo , with their timeless magic, retain their character and their wild aspect.
Favignana with its turquoise sea and its crystal clear waters is the ideal island to sail, but also with an animated and characteristic historic center.
To make the itinerary unique will be the beautiful coast of Sicily with the Riserva dello Zingaro and the nightlife of San Vito Lo Capo .

Our starting point will be the comfortable and baroque Palermo , which will be the backdrop for the last evening we will spend together for dinner and exploring the picturesque and welcoming Sicilian city.

It will be an opportunity to meet new people by navigating between Nature, Sailing and Fun!

The Egadi Islands are located right in front of the westernmost tip of Sicily a few kilometers from Trapani.
The Egadi archipelago includes three main islands, Favignana (the largest), Levanzo (the minor) and Marettimo , and two large rocks, Maraone and Formica , which emerge from the blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, a few miles from Trapani. The clear waters and the fascinating coasts, the small hills, the bays, the caves, and then the particular appeal of the trap (one of the few survivors in the world), make the Egadi a popular tourist and seaside destination. To complete in a perfect circle of navigation there is the Coast of Sicily from the Riserva dello Zingaro to San Vito Lo Capo.

Magical Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia and Procida by Catamaran

09/15/2024

GIANLORENZO C.

AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED. Bad communication with Sailsquare, which never answers the phone. Reception on arrival at the marina quite poor. Boat with very uncomfortable bathrooms and cabins, only the large and comfortable living area. Boat with obvious maintenance deficiencies: an engine that broke down on the first day (repaired after several hours of waiting), a decidedly dead battery, with the need to constantly resort to parallel to start the engine. A non-homogeneous group (two Italian couples and two English speaking couples), with a professionally trained (Italian) skipper, but who spoke almost only English. The destination is beautiful (both the islands and the Amalfi Coast), but structured in a real fraudulent industry aimed at plucking tourists: in Amalfi an evening in the port 450 Euros, of course without invoice. In Procida 230 Euros, with a ridiculous invoice, without the number of the holder, of the issuer (false, therefore). In Capri a buoy (illegal) outside the port 150 Euros, naturally in black. Figures that in the civilized world would be staggering, even higher than those of the port of Saint Tropez. Where are the Law, the Coast Guard that would have supervisory duties, the Guardia di Finanza? Not to mention the restaurants: a plate of spaghetti with clams costs 30 Euros, while in Santa Magherita Ligure, where I live and which is certainly not a cheap destination, it costs 19 Euros. Never again!!!!

Sailing, Relaxation and Fun in the Pontine and Phlegraean Islands on a 15-meter Boat

The expectations of a sailing holiday were not met as there was never the opportunity to raise the mainsail as only the last one, after the insistence of the crew, they tried to raise the mainsail but without success as it was poorly rigged. Which, by the way, was reported at the departure having had the opportunity to read the previous reviews, so this inconvenience added to the boat delivered dirty and with refrigerators working halfway due to a battery life problem and never reported except during the cruise. Organizer certainly not able to satisfy such an experience, so overall the judgment is certainly disappointing
