This experience, in a nutshell

The archipelago is an example of rare beauty both for its unspoiled nature and for its landscape and historical-architectural aspect. It is a true corner of paradise, where the clarity of the sea, the crystal clear seabed, the pleasant climate, the pure air, the lush vegetation, the suggestive caves create areas of rare beauty from which I cannot fail to be fascinated.

As comfortable as they are, cruise boats are still essential means of transport and with limited space that requires attention to luggage, so the advice is to reduce everything to the essentials and leave the superfluous in the city. Use a large backpack or a soft duffel bag that, once emptied, can be folded and placed more easily inside the boat. Avoid suitcases or rigid trolleys as much as possible . In addition to the main large bag, it can be useful to carry a smaller backpack or beach bag for small shore excursions. Sailing shoes (or sneakers but preferably with a light-colored and non-slip sole) to be used strictly only on board, hat and sunglasses. T-shirts and shorts, swimsuit, beach towel, beach/shower slippers, shoes to be used on land. A sweatshirt or fleece, a light and waterproof jacket preferably with a hood, a pair of long trousers. Toiletries, towels, linen and a small travel pharmacy (including sunscreen) and any specific personal medications. Possibly sheets and pillowcase, some CDs, mobile phone charger with USB socket, camera and finally something to go out at night... The bag is ready for boarding!

In any case, the crew members undertake to comply with the instructions relating to safety, they collaborate equally in maintaining the order of the boat for safety purposes, in maneuvers, in the preparation of meals, in the washing of dishes, in the minimum cleaning of the boat etc. etc. as the collaboration of a sailor and a hostess on board is not normally required.

The relationship with travel companions will be based on collaboration and respect at every moment of the holiday, which, with these simple attentions, will be truly fun and relaxing.

Before departure, the crew will be interested in carrying out the galley on board.

Our itinerary

We will leave the mooring in the morning to reach a cove where we can swim and laze in the early afternoon. The daily main commutes, of about 22 miles, will generally come in the morning. Afterwards we will reach the place where we will spend the evening, with the possibility of going ashore to visit the island of St. Nicholas and take a walk. During the holiday period, it is planned to spend the night at anchor, in close contact with nature and under the starry sky.

The first night will be spent on a boat at Marina di Termoli.

All itineraries are subject to change in the presence of particular weather situations, such as the addition of a port or bay or the choice of a different shelter.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Overall great experience with Marco. The weather conditions were not always excellent, but Marco was always available to the needs of the crew, trying, and succeeding in my opinion, to please everyone always in full respect of safety. The wind was all in all favorable, there was a way to sail a bit and this personally satisfied me enough. A good experience to repeat next season hoping for a greater clemency of the weather. . Boat in order, clean and comfortable. Adequate galley and more than satisfactory availability of the owner. Certainly promoted.

Enchanting destination, you just have to abandon yourself to Marco, as to the waves of the sea, and everything will be fine, even in case of bad weather! Pragmatic and no-frills, he knows the area and the sailboat very well, and will build the most suitable itinerary for the weather of your days. After sleeping docked at the port of Termoli, the following morning in 4-5 hours of navigation you reach the Tremiti, and dive, also thanks to the tender, to discover the meanders of the coast and the islands, returning in the afternoon of the next day. We got along very well with the rest of the crew and with Marco's girlfriend, among other things a valuable help in maneuvering with the sails. Greetings B. & D.

MARCO has made available not only his boat but all his knowledge. On the boat he gave me 360-degree security. If you are looking for the skipper with the polo shirt with a stand-up collar and Prada glasses, he is not for you... He is a man of the sea. I feel lucky I had it as skipper.. I have no doubts about the next boat trip... Thank you Marco
