🚗 By car
From Genoa take the A12/E80 motorway south-east and exit at Lavagna; The motorway section covers about 35-45 km and typically takes 40-50 minutes depending on traffic; alternative without toll: SS1 (Aurelia) along the coast with entrance/exit to Chiavari/Lavagna. From Milan, take the A7 towards Genoa and continue on the A12 towards Lavagna (about 180 km, 2-2.5 hours); from Turin follow the A26/A10 or A21 towards Genoa and then A12 (about 2.5-3 hours). Public parking lots and rest areas are located near the station and the seafront; to reach the city center, follow the exit signs for Lavagna at the motorway exit.

🚆 By train
The Lavagna station is on the Genoa-La Spezia-Pisa line, mainly served by Trenitalia regional trains; direct connections or connections with changes in Genoa are available from Milan Central Station and other Ligurian cities. Approximate times: Genoa Brignole/Principe 35-50 minutes by regional train, La Spezia 40-60 minutes, Pisa 1.5-2 hours; from Milan the connections usually require a change in Genoa and last a total of about 2-2.5 hours. The station is located in the city part that allows pedestrian access to the seafront and urban services.

✈️ By plane
The nearest airport is Genoa Cristoforo Colombo (GOA), about 35-45 km away; from the airport there are direct taxis and car rental, and the shuttle/bus service to the city stations (Piazza Principe/Brignole) from which trains depart for Lavagna (total bus+train combination 50-90 minutes depending on transfers); alternatives at a longer distance: Pisa Galileo Galilei (PSA) with bus connection to Pisa Centrale and then train to Lavagna, or the Milanese airports for international routes with continuation by train or car to Genoa and the A12. Car rental and taxi services are available at the mentioned airports.

If all cabins are occupied by guests, the skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in the dinette.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

Yes, it is possible to reserve a single cabin, but in this case the price is equal to that of two shares.

The provisions will be purchased by the participants immediately after boarding.

Meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience, unless the optional “Hostess/Cook on board” service is available and has been chosen.

All participants are responsible for cleaning the common areas on board.

Travelling light is recommended: especially in summer, when you will almost exclusively be wearing swimwear, T-shirts, and shorts on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the height of summer, while something warmer is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of bad weather or when sailing. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, flip-flops/sandals for going ashore; if you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful when sailing - they must have white soles and be used only on the boat. It may also be useful to bring a small waterproof container for your wallet/cell phone to use when going ashore. For bed linen and towels, please refer to the “What's included” section.

Hair dryers, hair straighteners, and other appliances that operate on 220V (household voltage) can only be used during stops in ports, when a power outlet is available for connection to the electrical grid.

A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

The boat is equipped with both 12V sockets (with USB and/or cigarette lighter connectors) that can normally be used at any time, and 220V sockets that can only be used when docked in ports, once connected to the charging stations on the quay.

We will spend the night moored in a bay or in port, where we will be able to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
