As is obvious, it is not possible to guarantee the sighting, although we can proudly say that the sightings occurred on 100% of the summer cruises of 2024. We remind you that research cruises with a WWF guide on board are not just whale watching cruises, but are experiences that offer a 360° immersion in the world of cetaceans, even with short theoretical lessons, as well as data collection and monitoring. Participating in a WWF research cruise means actively helping research and contributing to the well-being of the planet

The atmosphere that reigns on the boat is serene and informal and all people will be involved in the activities on board (such as cooking, keeping the boat tidy,..), in order to preserve the spirit of sharing that characterizes this type of holiday. These activities, which are boring at home, will instead be experienced as pleasant moments of conviviality.

The skipper manages the shopping together with a member of his crew, making sure it is already on board when the guests arrive. 

No, all the crew (i.e. skipper, WWF guide and in some cases the sailor) do not participate in the on-board expenses (galley, ports, fuel), which are shared among the travelers on board.

Sheets and towels are not provided on board this boat. For the summer season it is advisable to bring a sheet to cover the mattress, one to cover yourself and the pillowcase, or a sheet bag (the "light cousin" of the sleeping bag) and the pillowcase. For the spring season, a sleeping bag and pillowcase are recommended.

It is not allowed to bring equipment such as fishing rods on board. If you wish to bring other types of sports or entertainment equipment, please consult the skipper before departure to check suitability.

One of the goals of the WWF is to promote a more conscious relationship with food. As far as food choices are concerned, for a correct nutritional intake, the breakfast and meal menus are aligned with the criteria of the Mediterranean diet and characterized by the prevalent use of seasonal and locally sourced products.

As for allergies, intolerances or special diets, they must be reported in the appropriate space of the booking form and after checking with the facilities we respond directly to the family, regarding the feasibility in the specific field chosen, as each characteristic on these issues we consider should be considered individually.

Generally, during the week of cruises, the boat stops only in the roadstead. It enters the port in case of weather and sea conditions that require it: if there is therefore an expense related to the ports, the parents of the participants will be advised on the amount to be brought IN CASH at the pick-up. The amount requested will be between €20 and €60 per person.
