This experience, in a nutshell

From Zakynthos to the mysterious Strofades Islands, away from crowded routes and mass tourism, a week between crystal clear sea, secret bays and unspoiled nature.

The Strofade Islands, remote and protected, represent the most exclusive heart of the trip: a sanctuary between nature and spirituality, where time seems suspended.

For those who love the real sea, wild nature and the pleasure of a slow and exclusive journey. A cruise for those seeking adventure, freedom and a deep connection with the sea, without sacrificing the pleasure of sharing and the beauty of authentic sailing.

Leg 1

Monday

Embarkation in Agios Nikolaos, accommodation on board and departure after an initial refueling.

Stop in Paralia Tsilivi, ideal for the first dip in the crystal clear waters of Zakynthos and a relaxed lunch in the bay. In the afternoon we sail to Zakynthos, the lively capital of the island, walk through the alleys and along the port. It is the ideal place to complete the galley.

Dinner in a typical Greek tavern and night in the roadstead, under the stars.

Approximately 12 nautical miles

Leg 2

Tuesday

Weset sail towards Gerakas, an unspoilt bay famous for its marine fauna. Here an unforgettable swim and snorkeling in pure waters awaits us. In the afternoon we will sail to the remote Strofades Islands: 25 miles of open sea with the north-west wind gently accompanying us.

Upon arrival we drop anchor at the Island of the Harpies, a wild and magical place. Dinner on board and night at anchor, surrounded by absolute silence, interrupted, if luck assists, by the song of the Diomedee, seabirds that make the atmosphere mystical and primordial

Approximately 26.5 nautical miles

Tuesday

Leg 3

Wednesday

Disembarkation in Stamfani, the island that houses the suggestive medieval fortified monastery, founded in 1241 by the Byzantine princess Irene. A place full of history and spirituality, linked to San Dionysios, patron saint of Zakynthos. The mighty walls, the lighthouse and the absolute silence tell of centuries of storms, pirates and prayer.

In the afternoon we explore the islands by tender, among intact bays, wild reefs and transparent seabeds, ideal for snorkeling in one of the purest seas of the Ionian Sea.

Dinner on board and another night immersed in the magic of this remote corner of Greece.

Wednesday

Leg 4

Thursday

We leave the Strofades and head for Zakynthos. First stop at Marathonisi, the turtle of Zakynthos, famous for the clarity of its waters. Baths and relaxation.

In the afternoon we continue to Keri, a picturesque village overlooking the sea. Dinner in a characteristic local tavern and night in the roadstead, overlooking the cliffs illuminated by the sunset.

Approximately 28 nautical miles

Thursday

Leg 5

Friday

A day dedicated to the spectacular west coast of Zakynthos, the most unspoiled of the island.

Stop at the famous Piscines Beach, where the play of light between rocks and sea create surreal colors.

We continue to Ormos Theio for lunch on board, then continue along the coast, exploring remote coves and lonely bays. In the evening we reach a small island in front of Vromi, completely out of this world. Dinner on board and night under a starry sky, lulled by the sea.

Approximately 15 nautical miles

Friday

Leg 6

Saturday

At dawn we set sail towards the famous Navagio Beach, with its iconic shipwreck set in the white sand. A few photos and then off to new bays. Swim stop and lunch between Agios Andreas or Filippoi Beach, depending on weather conditions. In the afternoon last navigations between caves and coves north of Zakynthos. Return to Agios Nikolaos, dinner in a tavern and last evening together.

Approximately 10 nautical miles

Stefania and Giovanni are very sympathetic and we were able to enjoy this sailing trip very much. They showed us the most beautiful bays of Paxos, Antipaxos and the mainland. We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the sailing ship every day and were able to eat in one of the many taverns in the evening. We can highly recommend the sailing trip!

I spent a wonderful holiday with Giovanni and Stefania and Remo. Always attentive to comfort, to take care of life on board. Giovanni is a confident captain, with a lot of experience, nice, always ready to share his knowledge of navigation. I learned a lot with him and I thank him very much. Stefania makes delicious cuisine and makes sure of everyone's well-being. They give us lots of tips for things to do and see on the stops on land. I will certainly return to do another week of navigation with them. Unfortunately I didn't like Albania so much but the other islands were lovely. [hidden] is a beautiful and safe boat. Thanks for everything

We had a wonderful week for our first week-long experience on a sailboat. Stefania and Giovanni are exceptional hosts. Very welcoming, we immediately felt at home. Stefania is a remarkable cook, very attentive to introduce us to Greek cuisine. Everything is fresh and homemade! Giovanni is always on hand to help us discover exceptional sites and far from the tourist crowds. The boat is very comfortable. We shared a lot of authentic moments. We are ready to come back very soon! We highly recommend this cruise both for the kindness and competence of our hosts and for the beauty of the places we have visited. Every day was a new paradise. 1000 thanks!
