BAHAMAS - ABACO ISLANDS PREMIUM 8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS
Upon arrival at Marsh Harbor airport, take a taxi to reach our Harbor View Marina base in Marsh Harbor. Arrive early to visit the city of Marsh Harbor. Originally the main center of sponge processing in the Bahamas, before becoming an agricultural center, Marsh Harbor is today one of the main settlements of the northern islands. On the island there are several restaurants and some of the best nightclubs in the Bahamas, as well as excellent souvenirs for local handicrafts. Later that evening we will enjoy dinner on board and discuss the week's program.
Day 1 - Saturday: Marsh Harbor
Boarding at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board in Harbor View Marina.
Day 2 - Sunday: Marsh Harbor - Great Guana Cay
We will sail gently towards Great Guana Cay, where we will anchor in a beautiful bay in Fishers Bay. In Great Guana there is the Nippers Bar with its equally famous Sunday pork roast. Against the backdrop of the beautiful white Atlantic beach, Great Guana Cay is perfect for long walks and in fact is the set of those fantastic photographs that adorn the pages of the most glossy travel magazines. Relax on the beach, snorkel, dive (for a fee) or simply stroll along the beach: there's something for everyone.
Day 3 - Monday: Great Guana Cay - Treasure Cay
After lunch we will leave for Treasure Cay, which is listed in the 10 best beaches in the world by National Geographic! Here the sand is incredible and you also have all the comforts you could wish for, including excellent bars and restaurants, tennis, golf, swimming and some shops.
Day 4 - Tuesday: Treasure Cay - Man o 'War
In the morning we will leave for Man of War. Man of War is a quiet but rich and well maintained settlement. The Albury family, famous for its work boats in the Bahamas, continues to build both small and large boats in the city. Snorkeling can be done on the open side of the island.
Day 5 - Wednesday: Man of War - Tahiti Beach - Hope Town
Thanks to the catamarans that have a minimal draft, we are able to reach almost shore to drop you off and show you the crystal clear waters of Tahiti Beach. The transparent waters are shallow and the sand is very soft - is there a better way to get to one of the most beautiful beaches? After lunch, we will sail to Hope Town, one of the most picturesque ports in the Bahamas.
Dominating the city is the photographed white and red striped lighthouse, which is one of the last three headlights powered by kerosene still in use. From there you can enjoy incredible views of all the places on your cruise. Hope Town is a charming settlement with a wide selection of shops, restaurants, historical museums and houses.
Day 6 - Thursday: Hope Town - South of Abaco
We'll be up early so we can sail south to Abaco to find our deserted island. Spend the day lying on the beach or snorkeling among the coral reefs with their abundance of marine life or going deeper with a dive (extra for a fee). There's nothing like having an island all to yourself. Spend the evening drinking a cocktail while watching the sunset.
Day 7 - Friday: South of Abaco - Matt Lowes Cay - Marsh Harbor
A good breakfast and we will return to Marsh Harbor stopping at Matt Lowes Cay. You will enjoy swimming in the Abaco Sea before returning to our base for dinner and then maybe partying for the beautiful week spent in some clubs listening to music from local groups nearby.
Day 8 - Saturday: disembarkation at 9:00
After breakfast it's time to go home with beautiful memories and the desire to repeat a boat trip with Dream Yacht Charter and our cabin boarding team soon.
