This experience, in a nutshell

On board a brand new Lagoon 400 S2 catamaran with cabins with private bathroom we will sail in the heart of the Granadine archipelago , in the Caribbean of the South, in magnificent landscapes that will make your New Year's Eve holiday unforgettable. The beautiful colors of the Caribbean, the white of the sand and the shades from the blue to the blue of the water will surround you and hypnotize you for their delicacy.

Will be at our disposal an excellent catamaran characterized by large spaces and complete with everything, you can choose whether to lie in the sun on the fly deck or on the net in the bow, read a good book in the cockpit or collaborate with me in sailing. The long baths, the snorkeling, the rich barbecue on the beach and the visits of the villages are the main activities that will characterize your holiday. You will live an authentic Caribbean experience with many unique emotions, we will stop in the most spectacular bays characterized by the turquoise water, colorful coral reefs populated by many multicolored fish and turtles, white sandy beaches and palm trees and the sun always shining. You will eat in the characteristic local beach where you can taste the many tropical fruits and the excellent local cuisine flooded with Rum . For those who wish it can also try their hand at kitesurfing and diving thanks to the many specialized centers. On New Year's Eve we will be in the evocative setting of the Tobago Cays Marine Park, famous all over the world for its huge natural swimming pool populated by sea turtles, herons and iguanas and by the kaleidoscopic shades of gold, blue, turquoise and green. The evening barbecue at the beach under the stars and at midnight we will toast together immersed in water at 30 degrees!

ITINERARY:

Saturday, December 29: we will embark in the late afternoon on the island of Martinique, French outpost. Check-in to the catamaran and galley and then we will quickly descend into the heart of the Grenadines with a pleasant night navigation driven by the trade winds (starting at 22:00, about 14h of navigation).

Sunday, December 30: visit of the authentic Caribbean village of Crifton , where we will also do the customs, and then move to the most spectacular and awaited: the Tobago Cays (departure at 16:00, 45 min of navigation). We will anchor in 2 meters of water on a soft white sand, in a huge natural pool formed by three small islets and the famous Horse Shoe Reef , magical and suggestive place to explore with flippers and mask. Night in the harbor under the stars.

Monday, December 31: day without navigation and dedicated to relaxation to discover the Tobago Cay Marine Park . Swimming in turquoise waters surrounded by the colorful coral reef and in the company of tropical fish and many sea turtles in the park, then relax on the ground on soft white sand sheltered by a palm tree or on board on the sundeck at the bow . The Tobago Cays are also famous for kitesurfing thanks to the trade winds almost always present and for the diving in the coral reef, including sharks, turtles, stingrays and multicolored fish. We will spend the night of New Year's Eve at the beach with a rich barbecue accompanied by local drinks based on excellent Rum and, at midnight, you can not miss the unforgettable swim in water at 30 degrees!

Tuesday 1st January: we will begin the new year by continuing the exploration of the Tobago Cays, including turtles and multicolored fish , until we exit the Horse Shoe Reef and arrive at the deserted Petit Tabac Island inside the World's End Reef , the coral reef of the end of the world .. passed this miles and miles of the Atlantic Ocean! In the afternoon we will descend to the south to reach another spectacular Caribbean island surrounded by the reef and tuchese waters: Petit St. Vincent. The island is private and rarely frequented by charter and hosts the first and most exclusive resort in the Caribbean. You can dine lulled in the hammocks of a beautiful bar by the sea. Night in a candlelit harbor in a sea of ​​stars.

Wednesday, January 2: breakfast and baths and then move for lunch on the spectacular tongue of sand of Mophion: tiny uninhabited island surrounded by coral reefs and turquoise waters, famous place to be the classic postcard of the Caribbean. Baths between corals and white sand and for those who want snorkeling. In the afternoon we will go to anchor at Salt Whistle Bay, on the nearby island of Mayreau, and in the evening we will dine ashore in one of the Caribbean restaurants of the island (departure at 14:00, 1 and a half hour of navigation)

Thursday, January 3: in the morning we will resume our navigation leaving behind Mayreau and the Tobago Cay reef to reach Mustique, private island and the most glamorous of the Caribbean, famous for hosting the villas of David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Madonna and many others. (departure at 9:00 am, 3 hours of navigation). We will go ashore to have lunch in the famous Basil's Bar and admire the elegant and well-kept island. After lunch we will leave for Bequia where we will anchor in Admiralty Bay in front of the colorful village of Port Elisabeth (departure at 3:30 pm, 2 hours of sailing). Dinner in catamaran or in one of the characteristic beachfront restaurants, night at anchor.

Friday, January 4: we will resume the sea very early to start the ascent towards the north (departure at 6:00, 12 hours of navigation). Stop for breakfast on the island of St. Vinsent in the famous bay set of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" , bathing on the black sand beaches surrounded by thick plantations of banana trees and then continue towards the island of St. Lucia. In the strait between the two islands, famous for the transit of tuna , you can try trolling and then stop for a swim in the beautiful and picturesque bay between the Pitons, south of St. Lucia. Sunset in navigation and arrival in the Marigot Bay lagoon. Dinner among the mangroves in the characteristic restaurants on stilts and night at anchor in the bay.

Saturday 5 January: very early departure to cross the canal between St. Lucia and Martinique and arrival at Le Marin for disembarking by 12.00 (departure time 5.00am, 6 hours navigation)

Massimo non era presente, ha trovato un sostituito, Francesco. Mi è sembrato poco proattivo nel fare gruppo, nel dare spiegazioni sull'itinerario e nell'affrontare gli inconvenienti che si sono presentati durante il weekend. Esperienza che si è rivelata tutto sommato positiva grazie al gruppo, ma mi sarei aspettato una maggiore attenzione.

Bellissimo weekend! Abbiamo veleggiato lungo la costa delle 5 Terre e fatto bellissimi bagni, siamo stati fortunati per il meteo perfetto. Ottima la serata di sabato a Portovenere! Skipper bravo e preparato, Massimo sempre disponibile e educato. Esperienza da ripetere!

Che dire, vacanza indimenticabile! Abbiamo visitato la Polinesia Francese con uno splendido catamarano che ci ha permesso di vivere l'oceano e gli atolli polinesiani nel modo migliore, come nessun resort può fare! Ancoraggi in baie incredibili, su acque turchesi popolate da pesci e coralli di mille colori. Abbiamo navigato nel blu cobalto del Pacifico e visto isole verdissime ricche di vegetazione. Luoghi che resteranno per sempre nel cuore. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!
