Embark on a sailing discovery course with a navigation on 3 days in
the South Brittany Islands to acquire the fundamentals of
This FFVoile cruise is for anyone wishing start or progress on a tall ship by structuring technique of using a sailboat. Framed by a crew professional consisting of a Captain 200 Sail and a second State certificate, you embark as a team member for an internship discovery sail in coastal mode aboard a 21m monohull, a Challenge 67.
During this cruise, you will discuss the fundamentals of Sailing: discovering the boat, safety, maneuvers base, driving, port maneuvering, mooring techniques, without forget the safety on board.
This navigation program is also an opportunity to discover Ponant Islands in Southern Brittany:
- Beautiful Island
Welcoming customers on board at the port of Lorient La Base - Presentation of the crew, welcome coffee - Discovery of the sailboat and crew on board - Weather Briefing, Safety, Definition of the navigation program, logbook - Preparation of the plan of deck, sails - Equipment and maneuvering of port - Sailing in the harbor - Browsing Courreaux de Groix - Preparation of the lunch - Lunch at sea or at anchor depending on program and weather - Navigation around Ile de Groix, maneuvers, carto - According to weather, preparation of the anchorage forain - Debriefing of the day, dinner and night on board.
Breakfast - Preparation of the day's navigation - Survey of the mooring - Sailing - Navigation on Belle Ile or Les Glénan weather - Maneuvers, weather report, VHF link, etc. - Preparation of lunch and lunch at sea - According to weather, preparation of the anchorage forain - Debriefing of the day, dinner and overnight on board.
Breakfast - Navigation preparation on Lorient - Relevé of mooring - Sailing - Navigation - Preparation of lunch and lunch at sea - maneuvers, carto, man overboard, etc. - Return to the port of Lorient La Base - Maneuvers of port, taken post - Boat storage - Internship debriefing, skills acquired on Sailing Passport (for those who have it) by the Chief of board - Disembarkation around 18H.

Built for the BT Global --hidden--, crewed aro1d the world against the prevailing winds, these large monohulls are cut for the offshore but also for coastal programs. Their large size is an asset to train and anticipate all situations at sea.
