Pierre's holidays in Brittany

Sail to discover the Breton coast and its islands from Saint-Malo

6 reasons to choose Brittany to do your next cruise school:

  • To learn the rules, to master the wind and the handling of your boat
  • To enjoy its rich history and incredibly diverse heritage at the same time
  • To learn to sail in more technical conditions, with wind and currents
  • To learn or improve your sailing skills at your own pace with a passionate skipper
  • For the freedom offered by the many ports and anchorages
  • To marvel at the changing landscapes and colours

Choosing Brittany for your next cruising school:

The conditions for a good learning experience are very good, sailing and participating in a sailing school in Brittany is always formative. Indeed, there are various anchorages and ports. But also various weather conditions, a lot of traffic, the full range of maritime markings, sheltered places in case of bad weather where the sea remains flat, and a strong tide. Sailing in the tropics is easier. This is why some sailors go sailing under coconut palms without having bothered to get proper training. But even under coconut trees, nature rarely forgives repeated mistakes and there is no substitute for a solid maritime education. Brittany is a very good place to acquire the skills that are essential for your safety and serenity, there is rich sailing at all levels!

Brittany, an exceptional sailing area for a sailing course

Sailing in Brittany is always formative. The conditions for a good learning experience are very good and there are many anchorages and harbours. But also various weather conditions, a lot of traffic, the full range of maritime buoyage, sheltered places in case of bad weather where the sea stays flat, and tides. It is easier to sail under the sun in the tropics. However, it is essential in any destination to be properly trained and to know at least the basics of sailing. Brittany is a very good place to acquire the essential skills for your safety and serenity, there is rich sailing at all levels!

Brittany, many waters for sailing courses

Reputed among sailors, Brittany offers many possibilities in terms of sailing. You can thus choose to do your sailing course in the region that attracts you the most. In the South, you can go on a sailing cruise in the famous Gulf of Morbihan, around the islands of Quiberon Bay and Groix or from Concarneau to the superb archipelago of Glénans. If you choose the North, you can cruise between Batz and Bréhat or in the Channel Islands from Saint-Malo or Granville.
