From Kos to Patmos to discover the Dodecanese islands
with Max C. 44 years old
This is a holiday dedicated to
- Sailing
- Food & Wine
- Adventure
Brief description of the holiday
We will sail from Kos and upwind the Meltemi (seasonal wind from the North that blows steadily all summer) trying to reach Patmos, stopping in the bays and harbors that we will find along the way.
Preferably we will sleep in the ports, which in Greece cost very little, especially due to the wind, but if there is an opportunity we will do some bays.
Ideally, the route will touch Kos - Pserimos - Kalimnos - Leros - Lipsi - Patmos, but may be subject to variations based on the weather, and at the unquestionable choice of the captain, trying to share the choices with the crew.
Collaboration on board is required in maneuvers and cleaning.
Previous experiences on a boat are welcome, as navigation can become very "sporty" in some places, even if the route will try to pass downwind of the islands to avoid rough seas.
It is an excellent sailing experience, and the return navigation will certainly be more pleasant, with downwind.
Then Sole Vento Vino and Trallallá

This is a sailing boat of about 12 meters with 3 comfortable double cabins and 2 bathrooms. It has a large dinette with a table transformable into a sofa bed, fitted kitchen and sink with direct seawater socket to save water in the wash. It has 400 liters of water that allow you to work serenely with a moderate water consumption. It has a large cockpit with seating for the entire crew and folding table, with a sprayhood cap and awning for the sun. The aft mirror is livable and equipped with a fresh water shower. Look good at all slopes but prefer the wide wind, where it reaches 9 kts speeds. It has a cruising speed of 6.5kts per engine and a fuel consumption of just 3l / h! The boat beats the Spanish flag and is "born" to the Balearic Islands, where it will return after long sailing in the Italian coasts!
