This experience, in a nutshell

Lulled by the calm cobalt blue waters of the Ionian Sea we will sail to discover wild bays, seductive beaches, characteristic villages and marinas where you can savor Greek culture and hospitality.

We will set sail from Kefalonia to reach the enchanting beach of Antisamos and then with full sail to the legendary Ithaca , a welcoming and above all magical green!
We will taste the authentic charm of the minor Ionian islands with landings in Atokos, Kastos, Meganissi and Arkoudi to enjoy atmospheres frozen in time and swimming in crystal clear waters.
Accompanied by light breezes and the scent of the sea, we will sail towards Lefkada , an island with lush vegetation, white beaches and turquoise sea. We will continue with the bow to the south for a new stop in Ithaca, the picturesque port of Kioni from where to follow in the footsteps of Odysseus, finally return to Kefalonia to spend an unforgettable evening in the sparkling village of Fiskardo , the "Greek Portofino".

NB: There is a quadruple cabin on board: if you want to book it, write me in the message area and you will receive a personalized offer!
Below is the detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Italy - flight - Kefalonia
Arrival at Kefalonia airport and transfer to Agia Efimia marina. Crew welcome with cruise introduction briefing and cabin assignment. Organization of common fund and galley for the cruise according to the needs of guests. Evening in the marina with the possibility of dinner in a tavern, overnight stay on board.
NB: Boarding from 15.00 to 20.00.

2nd Day: From Kefalonia to Ithaca, the island of Ulysses
The first day of navigation we leave for Antisamos, an enchanting bay chosen as the main set of the film "Captain Corelli's mandolin". Possibility of making an optional excursion to Lake Melissani, ancient place of worship of the god Pan, and the cave of Drogarati where you can admire stalactites and stalagmites dated 150 million years, at the end of the visit you reach the boat moored in the bay of Antisamos for the lunch on board.
Continuation to the quiet and welcoming island of Ithaca, the name alone awakens an imaginary where history blends and merges with reality and gives life to the myth, we are at Ulysses' home! Anchorage in a naturalistic bay and dinner on board with an open view of the green slopes that plunge into the blue.
Optional excursion to Drogarati Caves and Melissani Lake - Departure time: 10.00 - Duration: about 3 hours - Price: entrance ticket to sites + transport (to be agreed on site)

Day 3: Ithaca - Atokos - Kastos
After breakfast we continue towards Atokos, an uninhabited island with inviting crystal clear waters, a true paradise! Here we will have time to swim in a turquoise sea surrounded by the beauty of the hinterland covered with typically Mediterranean vegetation.
Lunch on board and sail to the island of Kastos, a real jewel where the lapping of the waves that break on the coast mark the slow passage of time. Mooring (port or bay depending on availability) and walk to the mill where you can enjoy an aperitif overlooking the sea. Dinner in a typical tavern.

4th Day: Kastos - Meganissi - Lefkada
Breakfast. Today we start sailing towards Meganissi, an island characterized by deep inlets, steep mountains, underground caves and crystal clear sea. Stop in an isolated bay to immerse yourself in the transparency of its waters and lunch on board.
Continue to Lefkada where the green of the vegetation and the blue of the sea will be the colors that will fill our eyes as we approach Sivota, a characteristic harbor full of life. Mooring on the quay, relaxation and dinner in a typical tavern.

Day 5: Lefkada - Arkoudi - Ithaca, Kioni village
Breakfast. We point the bow towards the south to reach Arkoudi, one of the few islands in Greece with a small coral reef, down the anchor and all in the water with a mask and snorkel in search of the fish that populate it!
After lunch on board we will set sail again for Ithaca and it will be the three mills that stand out on the horizon to welcome us at the entrance of the picturesque port of Kioni. The splendid bay that embraces the town and the houses built in traditional Ionian style make Kioni the most beautiful village on the island. Mooring (port or bay depending on availability) and afternoon in one of the inviting beaches that can be easily reached with our tender. Dinner in a typical tavern.

6th Day: Ithaca - Kefalonia and Fiskardo, the "Greek Portofino"
After breakfast, possibility of an optional excursion following the footsteps of Ulysses and reaching the bay of Polis on the opposite side of the island. Delighted by the scent of sea and pine forests that accompanies the route, we will arrive in Stavros, a village in a panoramic position within the island. In the central square, the bust of Homer's hero and the reconstruction of his palace, the work of the Italian architect Bruno Mazzali. A short distance from the town are still visible some ruins that history, or legend, recognizes as the remains of the ancient home of Ulysses. Time for a coffee with Penelope before descending to Polis, the view from above sweeping over the bay below is breathtaking!
Lunch on board and then on the sails up to Fiskardo, nicknamed the "Greek Portofino" for the trendy and sparkling atmosphere that you breathe while walking through its streets and squares lined with Venetian-style houses painted in bright colors. Mooring (port or bay depending on availability) and afternoon of swimming and diving in a crystal clear sea. Dinner in a typical tavern.
Optional excursion to Stravos, in the footsteps of Odysseus - Departure time: 10.00 - Duration: about 3 hours - Price: to be agreed on site

7th day: Kefalonia
Breakfast. Today we sail the north east coast of Kefalonia along the channel that separates it from Ithaca. The coastal strip is an alternation of hidden coves, idyllic beaches, pine forests that touch the sea ... an immersion of wild and attractive nature that inebriates the eyes and the heart with wonder!
Stop in a bay for swimming and relaxation, lunch on board and sailing towards Agia Efimia. Dinner in a typical tavern.

Day 8: Kefalonia - flight - Italy
Breakfast. The cruise ends with disembarkation and transfer to the airport in time for boarding the return flight.
NB: disembarkation before 10.00.

Stefano was an excellent skipper and highly experienced and plotted a great route. Alessia was a brilliant host and between the two of them they made an amazing experience. The boat is large in good condition and comfortable. The food that they made us was just amazing and beyond our expectations. I have been on a few sailing holidays like this but this was the best experience I have had.

That of Roberto is a charming, comfortable boat with plenty of space in the galley and multiple areas on the deck to sit / lay and relax. The itinerary took us to some amazing bays, coves and secluded beaches all with picturesque scenery and crystal blue waters. Most evenings we had dinner in very good tavernas enabling us to sample some of the finest fresh fish available in the Ionian Sea! Then finishing the day off by sleeping under the stars
