Brief description of the holiday
Lulled by the calm cobalt blue waters of the Ionian Sea we will sail to the discovery of wild bays, seductive beaches, characteristic villages and harbors where you can savor the culture and Greek hospitality. We will sail from Kefalonia to reach the enchanting Antisamos beach and then under full sail up to legendary Ithaca , welcoming green and above all magical! We will taste the authentic charm of the minor Ionian islands with landings to Atokos, Kastos, Meganissi and Arkoudi to enjoy atmospheres over time and baths in crystal clear waters. Accompanied by light breezes and the scent of the sea we will sail towards Lefkada , an island with lush vegetation, beaches white and turquoise sea. We will continue with the bow to the south for a new one stop in Ithaca, the picturesque port of Kioni from where follow in the footsteps of Odysseus, finally return to Kefalonia for spend an unforgettable evening in the sparkling village of Fiskardo , the “Greek Portofino”. Below is the detailed itinerary: 1st Day: Italy - flight - Kefalonia Arrival at Kefalonia airport and transfer to the marina by Agia Efimia. Crew welcome with briefing by introduction to the cruise and assignment of cabins. Common cash and galley organization for the cruise according to needs of guests. Evening in the marina with the possibility of dinner in tavern, overnight on board. NB: Boarding from 15.00 to 20.00. 2nd Day: From Kefalonia to Ithaca, the island of Ulysses The first day of navigation we leave for Antisamos, enchanting bay chosen as the main set of the film “The mandolin of Captain Corelli ". Possibility of making an excursion optional at Melissani lake, ancient place of worship of the god Pan, e the Drogarati cave where you can admire dated stalactites and stalagmites 150 million years, at the end of the visit the boat is reached moored in Antisamos bay for lunch on board. Continue to the quiet and welcoming island of Ithaca, the name alone awakens an imaginary where history blends and becomes confuses with reality and gives life to myth, we are at Ulysses' house! Anchorage in a naturalistic bay and dinner on board with an open view on the green slopes that plunge into the blue. Optional excursion to Drogarati Caves and Lake of Melissani - Departure time: 10.00 - Duration: about 3 hours - Price: entrance ticket to sites + transport (to be agreed in loco) 3rd Day: Ithaca - Atokos - Kastos After breakfast we continue towards Atokos, an uninhabited island with inviting crystal clear waters, a true paradise! Here we will have time available for swimming in a turquoise sea surrounded by beauty of the hinterland covered with typically vegetation Mediterranean. Lunch on board and sailing to the island of Kastos, a real one jewel where the lapping of the waves crashing on coast mark the slow passage of time. Mooring (port or bay in depending on availability) and walk to the mill where enjoy an aperitif overlooking the sea. Dinner in a typical tavern. 4th Day: Kastos - Meganissi - Lefkada Breakfast. Today we start sailing towards Meganissi, an island characterized by deep inlets, steep mountains, caves underground and crystal clear sea. Stop in a secluded bay for immerse yourself in the transparency of its waters and lunch a edge. Continue to Lefkada where the green of the vegetation and the blue of the sea will be the colors that will fill our eyes while we approach Sivota, a characteristic harbor full of life. Mooring on the quay, relaxation and dinner in a typical tavern. 5th Day: Lefkada - Arkoudi - Ithaca, village of Kioni Breakfast. You point the bow towards the south to reach Arkoudi, one of the few islands in Greece with a small coral reef, down anchor and all in the water with mask and snorkel in search of the fish that populate it! After lunch on board we will set sail again for Ithaca and will be the three mills that stand out on the horizon to give us the welcome at the entrance to the picturesque port of Kioni. The splendid bay that embraces the town and the traditionally built houses Ionian style make Kioni the most beautiful village on the island. Mooring (port or bay depending on availability) and afternoon on one of the inviting beaches easily accessible by our tender. Dinner in a typical tavern. 6th Day: Ithaca - Kefalonia and Fiskardo, the “Greek Portofino” After breakfast, possibility of an optional excursion following in the footsteps of Ulysses and reaching the bay of Polis sul opposite side of the island. Delighted by the scent of the sea and pine forests accompanying the route we will arrive in Stavros, village in panoramic position within the island. In the central square the bust of Homer's hero and the reconstruction of his palace, the work of the Italian architect Bruno Mazzali. A short distance from the country are still visible some ruins that history, or legend, recognizes them as remains of the ancient home of Ulysses. Time for a coffee with Penelope before going down to Polis, the view that from above it sweeps over the bay below is breathtaking! Lunch on board and then on the sails to Fiskardo, nicknamed la "Greek Portofino" for the trendy and sparkling atmosphere that you breathe strolling through its streets and squares lined with houses in Venetian style painted in bright colors. Mooring (port or bay in depending on availability) and afternoon of bathing and diving in a crystal clear sea. Dinner in a typical tavern. Optional excursion to Stravos, on the trail of Odysseus - Departure time: 10.00 - Duration: about 3 hours - Price: to be agreed on site 7th Day: Kefalonia Breakfast. Today we sail the north east coast of Kefalonia along the channel that separates it from Ithaca. The band coastal is a succession of hidden coves, idyllic beaches, pine forests that touch the sea ... an immersion of wild nature and attractive that intoxicates the eyes and the heart with wonder! Stop in a bay for swimming and relaxation, lunch on board and sailing towards Agia Efimia. Dinner in a typical tavern. 8th Day: Kefalonia - flight - Italy Breakfast. The cruise ends with the disembarkation and the transfer to the airport in time for boarding the return flight. NB: disembarkation by 10.00.
Ketch - 60 Piedi
The boat is a 60-foot one off built in 1991. The boat, completely renovated in 2018, is built to meet every need of the guests, who will be able to experience a relaxing and enjoyable cruise managed by a highly qualified crew. With its 18 meters in length, it offers 8 comfortable berths distributed in 2 double cabins and a quadruple cabin. All cabins have a private bathroom with shower, while the crew is reserved a cabin in the bow, with separate access and its own toilet.
The boat was built in wood: this noble material brings together all the essential qualities for a boat conceived and designed to live in. The wood is in fact able to keep the boat warm in winter and cool in summer. Furthermore, its natural elegance brings to mind all the most beautiful traditions of the navy. The two-masted sail rig also makes the boat a ketch, synonymous with balance and safety.
The deck, free of bulk, consists of a large sunbathing area at the bow and two welcoming cockpits with two tables at the stern. Below deck is the square area, well-windowed, which enjoys various comforts with large spaces to be lived in.
