Our base on the island of Lefkas is perfect for exploring the Ionian islands such as Zakynthos, Kefalonia to the south and Corfu to the north. You are free to choose which islands you want to visit and which route you like to sail!
HOW TO GET TO LEFKAS?
The port of Lefkas is located on the east side of the island, accessible from the island via a road bridge. From Aktion (Preveza) main airport it takes about 25 minutes by taxi. It is the airport where most European flights arrive.
There is also public transport, such as buses and shuttles that connect the airport with the port of Lefkas.
WHICH ITINERARY TO FOLLOW?
From our base in Lefkas, week-long cruises typically follow one of the two main sailing routes, namely the southern Ionian islands, including Kefalonia and Zakynthos, or the northbound to Corfu. Two week charters can cover the areas both north and south of Lefkas. Below we propose the itinerary for the southern Ionian islands .
The Ionian Sea is ideal for smooth sailing and family holidays , with endless nights in secluded bays of unique beauty. The island of Lefkas itself is full of peaceful bays and coves, so it is very likely that you will spend many of your days simply exploring the coast of Lefkas! South of Lefkas lies the island of Zakynthos and a little further Kefalonia . Both are large and well-known tourist islands with a ton of fun things to do, beautiful places to visit, turquoise waters to dive in, and historic sites to visit. Between Lefkas and Kefalonia there are many smaller islands that are worth visiting, including the amazing Ithaki and the smaller islands of Kalamos and Kastos.
The most beautiful points that we will visit together
LEFKAS : Lefkada or Leucas island is surrounded by a total of 24 islets. It connects to the opposite coast of central Greece via a floating drawbridge. In Lefkada we will find attractions, churches and monasteries, picturesque villages, lush greenery, idyllic bays of turquoise blue waters, crowded and secluded beaches of extraordinary beauty, a significant cultural heritage and hospitable local people.
KEFALONIA : magnificent landscapes await us, amazing beaches, a rich cultural heritage, great monuments, mountains, castles, distant monasteries and cheerful and hospitable people are the resources they have. Kefalonia is one of the most attractive destinations.
ZANTE : it is among the most beautiful and popular islands of the Ionian Sea, it is located in Kefalonia, it is famous all over the world for its crystal beaches and intense nightlife.
ITACA : famous for being the legendary homeland of Ulysses, the island of Ithaca is a paradise island for total relaxation. It has amazing greenery, picturesque villages, and wonderful swimming beaches such as Filiatro, Sarakiniko and Agios Ioannis.
KALAMOS : Kalamos is not a conventional island. It is a high mountain range that floats on the sea, its north side is covered with towering and thick pines.
All itineraries are suggested and subject to the approval of the captain who will assess the weather and sea conditions at the time of the cruise. The itinerary will be chosen in agreement between the cruise participants and the skipper, who will do his utmost to satisfy the preferences of the travelers. Any changes will be at the discretion of the skipper who will take into account the weather conditions to ensure safety at all times.
