The Viva 48 is a solid and sturdy sailboat, built with mastery to ensure good navigation and safety performance. Designed by Alfeo Scattolin in the late '70s as cruise-racer on the lines of Faram-Serenissima, his other creation of little previous one that had obtained several excellent results in the regattas of that period. The slender lines and the shape of the hull typical of the IOR class, give this boat remarkable sailing performance and the navigation is comfortable and safe in all weather conditions. The deck offers ample space both for the maneuver and for the relaxation of the guests on board. The interiors are simple and collected, cared for with love and characterized by the welcoming spirit of a boat that is also a home. There are 4 cabins (one for the crew) and two bathrooms. On board we try never to occupy the dinette to ensure maximum comfort for our guests; the boat can comfortably accommodate 6 people in the case of families with children, when our guests are all adults we prefer not to travel with more than 5 people. Each cabin has its own 12 V power socket and the boat has a 3.5 kW generator for 220 V power. Other technical details and equipment: Sloop rig, rigging 2018, full batten mainsail, lazy bag, genoa roller shutter, staysail on mobile tripod and flying shrouds, Iveco Aifo 95 hp engine, 220V Mase 3.5 KW generator set, Simrad GPS chart, VHF, Delta 20 Kg anchor, Quick anchor windlass 2015, 3.20 m tender with outboard motor 3 , 5 hp, diesel oil 500 liters, water 600 liters, water heater, fridge, gas cooker, microwave, stereo with CD player, large awning, sheets.

Also for this year, due to covid, the sharing of the cabin will not be allowed to people who are not already living together; on board we will preferably welcome already formed groups up to a maximum of 5 people, who have made a swab in the 48 hours prior to boarding. We advise you to bring only the strictly necessary stored in bags or soft bags (no trolley!) That can be stowed once emptied. A pair of shoes to be used only on the boat is essential. Don't forget a summer sleeping bag, a k-way type windbreaker, and a hat to shelter from the sun. We do not recommend bringing "superfluous" 220 volt equipment such as hair dryers (you can find it on board), hair straighteners, electric razors, etc. In each cabin there is a 12 v socket for recharging electronic devices, so we recommend to carry USB chargers. Only biodegradable products are used on board, including for personal hygiene.
