Brief description of the holiday
Explore all the beauty of the splendid Egadi Islands: Favignana , the largest and best known, Levanzo and Marettimo .
The area, with its 53,992 hectares, is the largest Marine Protected Area in Europe . Not yet overwhelmed by mass tourism, the islands of this archipelago offer still unspoiled and wild nature and a mild and warm climate for almost the whole year.
Fresh fish is never lacking on the tables of these islands. Fish couscous, grilled tuna, spaghetti with tuna bottarga, sea urchins, limpets, scampi and lobsters, are just some of the delicious dishes that you can taste. You will sail among the splendid islands, surrounded by crystal clear waters of extraordinary beauty, and you will land in places rich in history and folklore ; delighted by unique aromas and flavors.
1st day: Saturday meeting at 17.00, briefing and galley. Dinner and night at the Marina di Marsala.
2nd day: Sunday route to Favignana and visit of the most beautiful coves of the island. Visit to the town of Favignana and the Tonnara Florio, night in the cove or at the port of Favignana.
Day 3: Monday breakfast, swim and route to Levanzo, visit of the island and the picturesque village that stretches over the bay with crystal clear water, night in the cove.
4th Day: Tuesday breakfast, swim and sailing to Marettimo. After an afternoon of swimming and relaxation, night at the port to visit the village and to discover, if you like, the tasty local cuisine.
Day 5: Wednesday Tour of the island of Marettimo with a visit to the sea caves and the integral reserve with the authorized boats of the locals. Afternoon walk to the castle of Punta Troia and Night in the cove.
Day 6: Thursday breakfast, swim and then sail to Levanzo to discover the coves not yet visited, then another swim in Favignana and night in the harbor.
Day 7: Friday visits to the coves not yet seen, swimming and in the afternoon route to Marsala to spend the night in the port, and for those who want, the opportunity to visit the bustling historic center of Marsala a few steps from the marina.
Day 8: Saturday disembarkation at 9.00 at the marina of Marsala.
Sun Odyssey 49
The boat is a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49 model designed by the famous architect Philipe Briand.
It is an elegant, balanced and safe sailing boat, and offers large indoor and outdoor spaces.
Outside there is a large cockpit, equipped with cushions, which can comfortably accommodate all guests for suggestive lunches and dinners. The boat also has an external barbecue for excellent grilled fish. For the descent to the sea it is equipped with a comfortable platform.
Equipped with 4 double cabins each with its own bathroom and shower, a large kitchen with 2 refrigerators, a comfortable sofa and a table that allows all guests to sit comfortably.
It is equipped with solar panels to be completely autonomous, and a tender with an outboard allows the descent to the ground and to the enchanting bays.

We will sail on a sun odyssey 49i, fast sailing, offering large indoor and outdoor spaces. Equipped with 4 double cabins each with its own bathroom, a large kitchen with 2 refrigerators / freezers, a large external cockpit embellished with a large teak table that can accommodate all guests for suggestive lunches and dinners.
It is equipped to be completely autonomous with solar panels and a watermaker in order to avoid the crowded ports and enjoy the night anchorages in full autonomy. With her I sailed in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and I made 2 Atlantic crossings.
HOW TO REACH US:
Our base in Marsala is only 12 km from Trapani airport and 80 km from Palermo airport.
WHAT TO BRING:
The following is a small guide on the equipment to bring for a cruise on a sailing boat and not to forget at least the essential things. a series of basic articles, let's see which ones:
Carry all your things in a soft bag! Rigid ones and even semi-rigid trolleys with wheels should be avoided because they are difficult to stow. For charging smartphones, PCs, tablets, etc. All cabins are equipped with USB sockets.
Bring shorts, tank tops, swimsuits, t-shirts, flip-flops to go ashore with the tender, (girls, we don't recommend stilettos ..!) For the evening on the boat, a sweatshirt is ideal, but definitely depends on the month, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Cancellations and Refund
This experience undergoes Sailsquare's standard Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- As long as the Experience is Not Confirmed, you can cancel your reservation at any time and receive a refund of the amount paid.
- If the Experience is Confirmed, you can cancel your reservation up to 30 days before departure and receive a full refund.
- If available for the selected Experience, you can choose our Extended Refund Terms and cancel your booking at any time up to the departure, and receive a refund of the paid amount, upon the occurrence of certain conditions (illness, including Covid-19, work-related reason, domestic emergency, previous medical conditions and many more).
