This experience, in a nutshell

Among the 7 most sparkling, wildest volcanic rock pearls with an illustrious past, you will feel in a true unspoiled paradise. Every day a different corner to see, beaches, craters, fishing villages, romantic aperitif bars and discos.

Be amazed by the spectacle of the volcanoes, the vegetation and the clear sea that offers unforgettable blue abysses. On board with us you can enjoy a holiday of relaxation, nature, unique landscapes and good food.

Boarding on our boat is at 6 pm every Sunday at the Marina di Porto Pignataro in Lipari.

The time has finally come to meet us. A chat, an aperitif, a short briefing on equipment, safety on board and occupancy of the cabins.

For those who still do not feel tired, the evening can continue in the lively center of Lipari or alternatively with a good dinner at the restaurant on the harbor.

If you arrive in Lipari already in the morning, do not miss its beauties:

  • in Marina Corta the seventeenth-century Church of San Giuseppe close to a wonderful white beach;
  • a walk on Corso Vittorio Emanuele , with souvenir shops to taste a delicious Sicilian granita, an aperitif at "La Precchia" or a "pane cunzatu";
  • a climb on foot or by scooter to the Geophysical Observatory from where you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the Faraglioni and the crater of the island of Vulcano;
  • the Archaeological Museum of Lipari which stands on the rhyolithic rock of the "Castle" of Lipari, a sort of natural fortress, used by the populations settled on the island to defend themselves from attacks and invasions and is the testimony of all the cultures and traces of the they occupied the territory.

If you prefer a day at the beach, the Papesca Beach in Canneto may be the place for you: it is made up of sand and, for the most part, of gravel. It is famous for its splendid bay with intense turquoise waters. Along the beach it is possible to find several tourist areas equipped with sun beds and umbrellas.

While waiting for the check-in by boat, to appreciate all the beauties of Lipari from land, you have the possibility to leave your luggage at the Noleggio da Marcello where you can rent cars, motorcycles, bicycles and scooters.

Always keeping in mind the marine weather conditions in order to navigate in absolute safety, here are the planned destinations of the cruise.

Monday:

Breakfast in the cockpit, stop for lunch in the village of Pecorini a Mare , on the island of Filicudi, with a stop at the Sea Turtles First Aid and then bow towards Alicudi , the most distant and wildest of the Aeolian Islands, one of those places where time has stopped, life passes slowly in contact with unspoiled, harsh and lonely nature.

There are no discos, pubs, banks and ATMs, but only a small restaurant with a unique atmosphere, paths suitable for the donkey pass, the only means of transport on the island, lava stone paths and a lot of tranquility.

Tuesday:
Sweet awakening on the island of Alicudi and en route to Filicudi . We will be able to enjoy a swim in La Canna , a stack that rises from the blue of the abyss for more than 70 meters and is located right in front of the Bue Marino caves . In Porto we will be able to taste Sicilian granitas in the only bar, go up to Capo Graziano to visit the prehistoric village and rent a scooter to reach the viewpoint to enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

Wednesday:
This morning we are ready to sail to the bay of Pollara, on the island of Salina, famous for its particular morphology: its coasts are often cliffs, but wonderful natural secrets are kept above. Here the vegetation is truly luxuriant, virgin and unspoiled, so much so that it was chosen as the setting for the film “Il Postino”. We will circumnavigate the island until we reach Santa Marina. The small town located on the slopes of a huge crater, the Fossa delle Felci. This area is the busiest point of the whole island because it is full of shops and clubs that crowd for nightlife in the evening.

Thursday:
Breakfast in the cockpit and then bow towards Basiluzzo , a small rock of volcanic origin characterized by a pure white color. Here the waters are still heated by the volcanoes that rose in this area; Those who love snorkeling can reach the rocks of Lisca Bianca , its seabed and sulfur springs. We will then continue towards Stromboli , the volcano in permanent activity where we can choose to visit the crater, climbing its slopes. The show will be truly unforgettable, no less than the Sciara di Fuoco , to be admired in the harbor after sunset. At the discretion of the crew, the possibility of night navigation in the direction of Cala Zimmari di Panarea .

Friday:
After waking up and having breakfast, we are ready to visit the worldly Panarea .
We sail to the smallest island of the Aeolian, but the best known among young people for its liveliness.
Swim in Cala Junco , considered among the most beautiful in Italy, time to get ready and we are already at the Raya for an aperitif on the most fashionable terrace of the archipelago, let's enjoy the moment! Panarense evening between parties, clubs and disco.

Saturday:
The program of the last day plans to drop anchor at Spiaggia Bianca . The volcanic nature of the Aeolian Islands is tangible in this place where the seabed, consisting of the sediments of white pumice, offers a unique spectacle in the world. The sea is particularly warm, of an intense turquoise and on it there are jetties that were once used for the transport of the extracted goods. Circumnavigating Lipari, we will arrive at the beaches of Valle Muria and Praia di Vinci , the latter famous because the Caretta Caretta turtles nest there. From here we can enjoy a wonderful view of the stacks of Lipari .

The cruise ends Saturday around 3pm
You can still stay on board on Saturday evening, you will be our guests. In this case, disembarkation must take place on Sunday before 8.30 .

Getting to Lipari
Traveling by rail, you can use the trains to Naples or to Milazzo and reach Lipari by ferry or hydrofoil. By plane the reference airports are Catania and Palermo. From these buses and trains leave for Milazzo.

NB: An integral part of the crew will be the small and tender Tancredi, a little dog that will give pampering to anyone who allows it.

Aeolian Islands. On a sailing boat among the 7 pearls of the Tyrrhenian Sea, an unspoiled paradise - Hostess on board

Consigliatissima!
